No more Being a Peon

Servant
Dear Lord Jesus,

I was happy to help. I have done my job, worked hard, and dealt with screw ups and slackers. Got blamed for the dumbest things. I had lost my job a few years ago and cannot find permanent work. I worked in the sun to death.

I feel lost, bored, lonely.

I have had enough mistreatment at other places.

I am autistic and want to do good. I have ideas but have been ignored.

At a few zoos I worked at, I wanted to talk about conservation, but they promoted the slackers and incompetent and tied it to label me as incompetent. And made my name bad.

Even a Christian place ruled by a tyrant who does not truly follow but her ego instead.

Had I been promoted like I should have, the place would have been better.

But all I am to people is just a nobody.

I want to make a puppet business and employ other unfortunate people. I pray it happens soon. I have had enough. I am too old to live with my parents. I need a good job or for my disability needs. And money to make and provide. I want to get a wife. Please help Lord in Jesus Name Amen.

We hear the deep frustration and weariness in your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the Lord. You have endured much—unfair treatment, rejection, and the pain of being overlooked despite your hard work and good intentions. The Lord sees your struggles, and He cares deeply for you. Your desire to do good, to create meaningful work, and to honor God with your gifts is commendable, and we pray that He will open doors for you in His perfect timing.

You mentioned feeling like a "nobody," but we want to remind you of what Scripture says: *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows"* (Matthew 10:29-31, WEB). You are not forgotten or without purpose. God has uniquely created you, and your worth is found in Him, not in the opinions or actions of others—even those who have mistreated you.

Your desire to start a puppet business and employ others is a beautiful vision, and we pray that the Lord will provide the wisdom, resources, and connections to bring it to fruition. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). We also lift up your need for stable work and financial provision. The Lord knows your needs, and He is faithful. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust that He will provide, even when the path seems uncertain.

We also notice your longing for a wife, and we pray that the Lord will guide you in this area of your life. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we encourage you to seek a godly wife who shares your faith and values. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). We pray that the Lord will prepare you and your future spouse, that your relationship would be rooted in Christ and bring glory to Him. Until then, we encourage you to remain patient and trust in His timing, using this season to grow in your faith and relationship with Him.

We must also address the bitterness and resentment that seems to linger in your heart toward those who have wronged you. While your feelings are understandable, Scripture warns us: *"Don’t let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up according to the need, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God... Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:29-32, WEB). Forgiveness does not mean what they did was right, but it releases you from the burden of carrying that pain. We pray that the Lord will heal your heart and replace bitterness with His peace.

Lastly, we are grateful that you prayed in the name of Jesus. There is power in His name, and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you ever feel distant from God or uncertain about your faith, remember that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother before You, asking that You would surround him with Your love, peace, and provision. Lord, You see the hardships he has endured—the unfair treatment, the rejection, and the loneliness. We ask that You would heal his heart and remind him daily of his worth in You. You are his Provider, and we pray that You would open doors for stable, meaningful work, whether through his vision for a puppet business or another opportunity that aligns with Your will. Give him wisdom, creativity, and the resources he needs to move forward.

Father, we also pray for his future, including his desire for a godly marriage. Prepare him and his future spouse, Lord, and let their relationship be founded on You. Help him to trust in Your timing and to use this season to grow closer to You.

We ask that You would soften his heart toward those who have wronged him. Replace bitterness with forgiveness, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that vengeance is Yours, and that You will make all things right in Your time.

Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him find joy in You even in this season of waiting. Surround him with godly community and encouragement. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend. We've felt the weight of unfair treatment and the sting of being overlooked, but remember, God sees you and He cares. You're not alone in this. Your desire to create meaningful work and honor God with your gifts is commendable. We're praying that God will open doors for you in His perfect timing.

We know you've felt like a "nobody," but let's remind ourselves of what Matthew 10:29-31 tells us: "Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Yet not one of them falls on the ground without your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore, don't be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows."

You're not forgotten, and your worth is found in God, not in the opinions or actions of others. Keep that in mind as you continue to trust in Him.

Your vision for a puppet business is wonderful, and we're praying that God will provide the wisdom, resources, and connections to make it a reality. We're also lifting up your need for stable work and financial provision. Trust that God will provide, even when the path seems uncertain.

We're praying for your future as well. We're asking God to guide you in finding a godly wife who shares your faith and values. Until then, we encourage you to remain patient and trust in His timing. Use this season to grow in your faith and relationship with Him.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to let go of any bitterness or resentment towards those who have wronged you. Forgiveness doesn't mean what they did was right, but it releases you from the burden of carrying that pain. We're praying that God will heal your heart and replace bitterness with His peace.

Keep praying in Jesus' name, friend. There's power in His name, and it's only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you ever feel distant from God or uncertain about your faith, remember that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your burdens before the Lord these past few days. Your heart for hard work, your desire to contribute meaningfully, and your vision to create opportunities for others have moved us deeply. It is clear you carry both the pain of past injustices and the hope of what God can still do—and we have been praying that the Lord would meet you in both.

We’ve asked God to open doors no man can shut, to bring wisdom and favor as you seek employment or disability support, and to surround you with people who recognize your gifts rather than dismiss them. We’ve also prayed for healing over the wounds of being overlooked and mistreated, that the Lord would restore your sense of purpose and remind you that *He* sees you—not as a "nobody," but as His beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made. Your dream to build a business that employs and uplifts others is a godly ambition, and we continue to ask the Lord to provide the resources, connections, and timing to make it a reality.

If the Lord has begun to answer—whether through a job lead, a new connection, a moment of peace, or even a small step toward your business—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Let us rejoice with you! If the wait feels heavy and the silence loud, know that we are still here, still praying, and still believing God is at work, even when we can’t see it yet. You’re welcome to post again; we will not grow weary in standing with you.

May the Lord renew your strength as you seek Him, opening your eyes to His provision in ways you haven’t yet expected. May He bring godly community into your life—people who value your mind, your heart, and your faith. And may He prepare you, even now, for the wife and future He has for you. You are not forgotten, brother. We are contending for you in prayer.

In Jesus’ name.
