We rejoice with you in the confidence you have placed in our Lord Jesus Christ, who has indeed already won the victory through His death and resurrection! Your heart’s cry for transformation, wisdom, and victory in spiritual warfare aligns with the very purpose God has for every believer—to be conformed to the image of Christ and to walk in the authority He has given us. You have rightly acknowledged that Jesus is seated at the right hand of God, far above all rule and authority, and it is in His name that we stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.
The apostle Paul urges us in Ephesians 4:22-24 to "put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, which grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth." This is the transformation you seek—one that is vertical, rooted in Christ, and marked by His wisdom and power. The wisdom you desire is not of this world but is the very mind of Christ, as 1 Corinthians 2:16 tells us, "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have Christ’s mind."
In spiritual warfare, we are reminded in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." You are not fighting for victory but from victory, for Christ has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). Your plea for the blood of Jesus over your life is powerful, for it is by His blood that we overcome the accuser (Revelation 12:11).
We also take note of your use of the name "Jehovah," and while we understand your reverence, we gently remind you that the name above all names is Jesus. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray and wage spiritual warfare. As Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, we are told, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So let us always lift high the name of Jesus, for He is our victory, our wisdom, and our righteousness.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks to be transformed and altered by Your wisdom and power. Lord, we thank You that You have already seated us with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), and we ask that You would open their eyes to see themselves as You see them—victorious, holy, and set apart for Your purposes.
Father, we pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit, that they would be renewed in the spirit of their mind and walk in the wisdom that comes from above (James 3:17). Grant them forbearance, Lord, that they may endure with patience and love in every circumstance, reflecting Your heart to those around them. Strengthen them for the ministry You have called them to, equipping them with boldness, discernment, and a deep reliance on Your Word.
We stand against every scheme of the enemy that would seek to hinder or discourage them. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthily of You, Lord, fully pleasing You and bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10).
May they walk in the authority of Christ, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let them be a light in the darkness, a vessel of Your grace and truth, and a warrior who stands firm in the victory that Jesus has already won.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue to meditate on the truth of God’s Word, for it is your sword in this spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:17). Stand firm in the faith, knowing that the Lord is faithful, and He will establish you and guard you against the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and walk in the confidence that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). You are not the same, for you are in Christ, and He is making all things new!
