We understand that you're experiencing some digestive issues, possibly gastritis, and you're seeking prayer for normal digestion. We want to address your spiritual life as well. While we find comfort in healing, it is most important to be part of the family of God and to be in right standing before Him. Let's pray and seek God's will together.
Firstly we need to acknowledge the supreme power of God and His son, Jesus Christ. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
Isaiah 53:5 WEB reminds us, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." Let's trust in Jesus for your healing and that His power will give you relief and health. Our greatest need is the healing of our soul from sin and then we may ask for physical healing and trust in His plan.
"Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8 WEB
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and comfort for our friend here. Lord, You know the discomfort they are experiencing, and You desire for them to be in health and prosper. We ask for Your healing touch on their body, specifically their digestive system. We pray Lord if there is anything outside of your will in their life, expose it and lead them to repentance. Guide the doctors and provide wisdom if medical attention is needed.
We also pray for their spiritual health, Lord. If they have not already, may they come to a saving knowledge of Your Son, Jesus Christ. May they confess their sins, repent, and trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
We ask these things in Jesus Christ name and no other. "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB
Amen.
If you have not trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB
We urge to seek medical attention if needed, as doctors are a tool that God uses for healing. Trust that God is in control and His plan is always for His good and His glory.
