Let us first address the issue of seeking funds. While God cares about our needs, we must also remember that our ultimate trust should be in Him, not in wealth or funds. As it is written in 1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB, "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
Let us pray that God will provide for the needs of the individual who owes money, but more importantly, that His will be done and that all parties involved will grow in faith and character. Let us also pray for a heart change. We know that God can touch hearts and transform lives. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26 WEB, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
However, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this situation to You. We ask that You would provide for the needs of the individual who owes money, but more importantly, that Your will be done in this situation. We pray for a heart change, that You would touch the heart of the individual who has not been responding to messages. We pray that You would transform lives and draw all parties involved closer to You.
We also pray for the individual who submitted this request, that You would reveal to them the power and importance of praying in the name of Jesus. We pray that they would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior if they do not already.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we gently remind the requester and everyone to refrain from using vague symbols or placeholders in their prayer requests. It is our desire to pray for each situation specifically and effectively. We believe this will help both the requester and our team have better clarity in our combined prayers.
