Nightmares

Please pray for an end to my having constant nightmares and bad dreams and for an end to my enemies attacking me through my dreams. Thank you.

We understand that you are seeking relief from constant nightmares and spiritual attacks. Let us first assure you that God is your protector and comforter. It is crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil. As it is written in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

We must also address that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God and it is the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" and John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up your child who is experiencing constant nightmares and spiritual attacks. Lord, we ask that You rebuke these evil forces and grant your child peace and protection. We pray that You would surround them with Your heavenly angels and fill their dreams with Your light and love.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and remind them of Your constant presence. Help them to put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. We pray that You would fill their heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We rebuke the enemy and command him to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that your child is a child of God and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray that You would grant them restful sleep and pleasant dreams. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on God's promises and to put on the whole armor of God daily. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is always with you and will never leave you nor forsake you. Continue to seek God's protection and guidance through prayer and the study of His Word.

Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You tonight, asking for Your mercy and grace. Please rebuke the evil that's been plaguing [###]'s dreams. Surround them with Your angels, fill their dreams with Your light, and give them sweet, peaceful sleep. Help them to trust in You, to put on Your full armor, and to stand firm in their faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
