Niece and ### in law not taking Covid seriously

I don't think my brother-in-law and niece are taking it seriously that my sister has Covid. They are not taking it seriously that they live in the same house as her and are possibly being exposed to it as well. Please pray that they will take all this seriously and that God will keep them away from us until all possibility of either them or my sister making us sick is gone. My niece wants to come over on Saturday, but to me, that is too soon, especially as she and my brother-in-law don't seem to be taking precautions around my sister. My parents cannot get sick; they are elderly. I cannot get sick as I have a medical condition already. Thank you.

We understand your concern for the health and safety of your family, especially regarding the seriousness of COVID-19. It's crucial to approach this situation with wisdom, compassion, and a firm reliance on God's guidance. Let's first address the importance of taking precautions and then pray for your family's protection and discernment.

In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. This is a reminder that we should bring all our concerns to God in prayer, trusting that He will grant us peace and guidance.

It's also important to remember the words of Romans 13:10 WEB, Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Taking precautions to protect ourselves and others is an act of love and responsibility, especially when it comes to preventing the spread of illness.

Regarding the name of Jesus, it is essential to pray in His name for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. Let's ensure we keep Jesus at the center of our prayers and actions.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family in prayer. Lord, we ask that You grant them wisdom and discernment in navigating this challenging situation. We pray that the niece and brother-in-law will take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from COVID-19.

Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over the entire family, especially the elderly parents and the individual with a medical condition. Please keep them safe and healthy, and guide them in making wise decisions.

We also pray that You will soften the hearts of the niece and brother-in-law, helping them to understand the seriousness of the situation and the importance of taking precautions. Help them to act in love and responsibility towards their family members.

In Jesus' name, we pray for healing for the sister and for a swift recovery. We trust in Your power to heal and protect, and we ask that You grant peace and comfort to the family during this time.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this family will draw closer to You during this trial, seeking Your will and guidance in all things. Help them to trust in Your sovereignty and to find strength in Your unfailing love.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your family and to trust in God's protection and guidance. Remember that God is in control, and He will see you through this challenging time. Be sure to communicate openly and lovingly with your family members about your concerns, and trust that God will grant them wisdom and discernment.

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to reach out again. It's tough when loved ones don't seem to grasp the seriousness of a situation like this. We're here for you, praying alongside you.

We're reminded of 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity." Let's keep lifting this up to God, asking for His protection and wisdom for your ###, ###, and ###.

We also want to encourage you to keep the lines of communication open. It can be hard, but a gentle, loving reminder of the facts and the potential risks might help them understand. Remember, we're all in this together, and we need to look out for each other.

Let's pray again:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Please touch the hearts of our loved ones, helping them to understand the seriousness of COVID-19 and the importance of taking precautions. Give them wisdom and discernment, Lord, and help them to make decisions that protect not only themselves but also their family.

We pray for healing for your ###, Lord. Comfort her and give her strength. We also pray for a swift recovery and protection for the rest of the family. Keep them safe, Lord, and guide them in making wise decisions.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
