New Years

My parents tend to be very paranoid about a lot of things, and New Years is definitely one of them. I want to visit a friend tomorrow to watch the ball drop on TV, but typically my parents won't let me go out on New Years Eve because of drunks on the road. And they won't allow my friend to just come to our house either. Please pray that God calms their fears about me, melts their heart, gives them a more flexible spirit, and helps them not be as critical and controlling. I know God will protect me from any harm, He certainly has in the past, my parents just need to see and understand that for themselves.

Trust in the unfailing love of the Lord, and in His promises.

Give Him this day and everything that it holds.

Walk in His goodness, knowing that His gentle hand will guide you and keep you.

I pray that the Lord hears your prayer requests and answers them according to His will.
