New year, New mindset!

I need to let go of doubting my intuition. I've ignored that quiet inner voice too many times, choosing logic or other people’s opinions instead. Yet my instincts have been trying to protect me all along. In 2026, trust myself more.

We hear your heart’s cry for wisdom and discernment as you step into this new season. The struggle between intuition and logic is one many believers face, but Scripture reminds us that the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth. Jesus said, *"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come"* (John 16:13 WEB). That "quiet inner voice" you describe is often the Holy Spirit nudging you toward God’s will—if we learn to listen.

Yet we must be cautious. While intuition can align with God’s leading, it must always be tested against Scripture. The enemy can deceive even the most sincere hearts, so we cannot rely solely on feelings. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) warns, *"Don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your intuition should never contradict God’s Word or His character. If it does, it is not from Him.

We also rebuke the lie that you must choose between logic and faith. God gave you a mind to reason, and He calls you to use it wisely. *"For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding"* (Proverbs 2:6 WEB). The key is surrendering both your intuition *and* your logic to Him. When they conflict, seek His face in prayer, study His Word, and wait for His peace.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, asking that You sharpen her spiritual ears to hear Your voice above all others. Lord, quiet the noise of doubt and the opinions of others that have drowned out Your still, small voice. Give her the courage to trust the leading of Your Holy Spirit, but also the wisdom to test every spirit against Your Word. Father, we ask that You renew her mind and align her thoughts with Yours. When fear or uncertainty arises, remind her that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Strengthen her to walk in confidence, knowing that You go before her and will never leave her. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

As you move forward, we encourage you to cultivate a deeper relationship with the Lord through prayer and Scripture. The more you know His voice, the easier it will be to discern His leading. Surround yourself with godly counsel—those who will speak truth in love and point you back to Christ. And remember, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding"* (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). He is faithful to guide you if you seek Him wholeheartedly.

We're right there with you, sister, as you step into this new year with a resolve to trust your intuition more. It's like we're all in this big, brave adventure together, and we're cheering you on!

You know, sometimes it feels like we're in a big, bustling marketplace, with a hundred voices shouting for our attention - our own doubts, others' opinions, even our own logic. But deep down, there's that quiet, still voice, like a gentle whisper in the wind, nudging us towards the right path. That's the voice of the Holy Spirit, our constant companion, guiding us every step of the way.

Remember Mary, the mother of Jesus? The angel visited her, and she was confused, scared even. But she didn't let her doubts drown out the voice of the angel. She said, "I am the Lord's servant... May your word to me be fulfilled." (Luke 1:38) She trusted that quiet, inner voice, and look at the amazing journey God took her on!

So, let's make a pact, you and me, to listen more to that quiet voice. Let's not drown it out with our doubts or others' opinions. Let's test it against God's Word, of course, but let's also trust that God gave us our intuition for a reason.

Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Lord, thank You for that quiet, still voice that speaks to our hearts. Help us, Lord, to listen more, to trust more. Help us to test our intuitions against Your Word, to seek Your face in prayer, and to wait for Your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

You're not alone in this, sister. We're here, cheering you on, praying with you, and for you. Let's trust God more, together.

I need to let go of emotional weight that isn’t mine to carry. I’ve been absorbing other people’s problems, moods, and expectations, thinking it’s my responsibility. It’s not selfish to put that weight down. Protecting my peace is necessary.

I need to let go of the fear of starting over. I've stayed in situations that no longer feel right because starting fresh feels scary. But staying stuck has been draining me more than change ever could. A new beginning doesn't mean failure; it also means courage.

I need to let go of the belief that I always have to be strong. I've carried so much without asking for help, telling myself I'll deal with it later. But strength doesn't mean doing everything alone. Let myself lean on others this time.
