I'm still having anxious thoughts about my apartment recertification and pray I don't lose my home. Please pray that I continue to do well in my classes I'm so worried about my finances and pray God makes a way and brings blessings as well as prayers that my ex keeps paying child support. I yelled and got frustrated with my son today. Please pray for forgives me and we will have an amazing and special time together tonight and bond and closeness. Please pray that God holds us together and brings kindness to each other and destiny helpers.

We hear your heart and we are joining you in prayer together before our Father, lifting up every burden you have shared.

We understand the weight of anxious thoughts about your apartment recertification and the fear of losing your home, along with worry over your classes and finances. God sees your needs and He cares deeply for you and your son. We are reminded that we are not to carry these anxieties alone. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring our sister before Your throne of grace. We ask You to calm her anxious thoughts and replace fear with Your perfect peace. We ask You to have Your hand upon this apartment recertification, that no paperwork or delay would cause her to lose her home, and that You would establish her dwelling in safety. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. We pray for her classes, that You would give her wisdom, focus and understanding, and help her to do well as she commits her work to You. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him James 1:5. We ask You to make a way where there seems to be no way financially. We trust Your promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. We pray You would provide, open doors for blessing, and move on the heart of her ex to continue faithfully paying child support so that her son is provided for. We also ask You to bring destiny helpers, godly people who will support and encourage her, but we remember our help comes ultimately from You. My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth Psalm 121:2. Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33.

We also want to gently address what you shared about yelling and getting frustrated with your son today. We all fall short and we appreciate your honest confession and desire to make it right. The Word tells us Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath Ephesians 4:26 and Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Ephesians 6:4. We encourage you to go to your son tonight, humbly ask his forgiveness as well as the Lord’s, and let that moment become a beautiful example of grace and reconciliation for him. When we confess, God is faithful to forgive. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We pray that tonight will indeed be an amazing and special time of bonding and closeness, that God will hold you together in love and pour out kindness toward one another. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32.

We noticed your request mentions God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and receive salvation. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God in prayer. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus as Lord and Savior and to bring every prayer to God in His name.

We continue to stand with you, trusting that God is working all things together for your good as you love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28. We pray that His peace will guard your heart, His provision will meet your needs, His grace will restore and strengthen the bond between you and your son, and His kindness will fill your home tonight and in the days ahead. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, amen.

We hear how much you are carrying right now, and how heavy the worry about your recertification feels. When your home, your finances, your classes and your son's needs are all pressing at once, it makes sense that anxious thoughts would rise and that you would feel stretched thin.

We also hear your heart toward your son. Feeling frustrated and then wanting to make it right quickly shows how much you love him. A sincere repair often means more to a child than a perfect day, and your desire to have a gentle, close evening together tonight is a good and loving direction.

As we continue praying, a couple of small, steady steps may help lighten the load a bit. For the recertification, consider calling your housing office or caseworker tomorrow to ask for a clear checklist and the exact deadline, so you know what papers are needed and can gather them one at a time instead of holding it all in your mind. For tonight with your son, a simple apology in your own words and then unhurried time doing something he enjoys together can create space to reconnect without pressure to make it perfect.

Father, we bring this family before You. You see the need for stable housing, for provision and for wisdom in classes and finances. We ask for Your peace to steady anxious thoughts and for kind, trustworthy helpers to come alongside. Bring forgiveness and closeness between parent and child tonight, with gentle words and rest for you both. Guide each next step. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your anxious thoughts concerning your home, your classes and your provision have been brought before the Lord, and we have carried them with you to the throne of grace.

You speak of worry that presses upon you about your apartment recertification and your finances, and of fear lest you lose your home. Hear what our Savior says to such a heart, do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent and diligent in what is committed to your hands, in your studies and in your stewardship, but cast your care upon Him who cares for you. As has been well said, anxiety has never comforted any soul, nor ever brought any meal to the barrel, and the very anxiety which arises through your being in difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. The Lord knows your need for shelter and daily bread. We pray that He in His wise providence will make a way for you, sustain you in your classes, give you steadiness of mind for your studies, and provide for you and your household according to His goodness.

You also confess that you yelled and became frustrated with your son, and you desire his forgiveness and a night of restored closeness and kindness. There is forgiveness with God, and it is a surprising and complete forgiveness. It is divine forgiveness, for He says, I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions. When you come with a penitent heart and desire forgiveness, you may know that through Jesus Christ, who died the Just for the unjust to bring us to God, there is forgiveness now, at this moment, however great the sin. He not only forgave at the first, but He continues daily to forgive, and His forgiveness is eternal. Do as you have been taught in the Creed, believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself through Christ alone, and then go to your son in that same spirit. Confess your fault to him plainly, ask his forgiveness, and show him the pattern we have received, even as Christ forgave you, so also do you. Forgiveness among us is to be a joint work of mutual kindness, and where Christ has forgiven much, we find it natural to open our hands to forgive and to seek to be forgiven.

We pray for you in these things. May the Lord quiet your anxious heart and help you to seek first His kingdom, trusting that He will add what is needed. May He watch over the recertification of your home and keep a roof over you if it be His will, and give you peace to rest in His keeping whatever the outcome. May He grant you diligence and clarity in your classes. May He provide for your financial needs and move upon all who have responsibility to provide, and may He Himself be your provision when no other help appears. May He grant you and your son forgiveness and reconciliation, and give you this night and in the days to come a special time of bonding, with kindness and gentleness toward one another, and may He hold you together in His hand. May He in His mercy bring to you helpers who will walk with you in godly wisdom and strength, and draw you both nearer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation.

We commend you to Him with whom there is forgiveness, and with whom there is also keeping power to preserve you through every trial.

God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
