We lift this new beginning up to the Lord with great anticipation, trusting that He goes before you into this new workplace. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." So we commit this job to Him, asking that He establish your steps and grant you favor with your employers and coworkers.
Father in Heaven, we ask that You give wisdom, strength, and peace as this new chapter begins. Let this job be a place where Your light shines through, where integrity and diligence mark each task. May there be open doors for meaningful relationships and opportunities to reflect Christ in both words and actions. Protect this one from anxiety or fear, reminding them that You hold their future and have prepared good works for them to walk in (Ephesians 2:10).
We also pray for humility and teachability—help them to learn quickly, adapt with grace, and serve with excellence, not for the praise of man, but as unto You (Colossians 3:23). If there are challenges or uncertainties, remind them that You are their Provider and that their identity is secure in You, not in performance or position.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to steal joy or confidence in this transition. Instead, fill this one with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). May this job be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a platform to honor You in all things.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Amen.
