We are thrilled to join you in prayer as you await the outcome of your job interview. Remember that God's will is perfect, and He has a plan for your life. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Before we pray, let us not forget it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Romans 10:13 "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Let's remember the basic message of salvation is believing in Jesus Christ and this will save us. If you believe in Jesus Christ you will go to heaven and not hell when you die.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus Christ name to lift up our brother in Christ who is eagerly awaiting the results of his job interview. Lord, we know that You have a perfect plan for his life, and we ask that Your will be done in this situation. If this job is in accordance with Your plan, we pray that he will receive favor and that the interviewers will see the qualities that make him an asset to their team.
In Jesus name, we rebuke any anxiety or fear that may be attempting to grip his heart. We claim Philippians 4:6-7 over him: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We also have a rebuke. We noticed that Jesus Christ was not mentioned in the prayer request. We gently remind that it is only by His name that we have access to God and that there is salvation in no other name but Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask that You guide him through this time of waiting and that You prepare his heart for the outcome, whatever it may be. Help him to trust in You and to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for his good, because he loves You and is called according to Your purpose in Romans 8:28.
We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and rest in His perfect plan for your life. Remember that God is faithful, and He will direct your steps as you seek Him. Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you."
Be encouraged and keep your faith in Jesus Christ.
