Please pray that I get a job offer in the next ### days. A job that will allow more flexible hours, offer better pay, and be better for my mental health and get rid of the anxiety that is creeping in while working for my current boss.

As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

However, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ or give reference to God's will in your life. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name given under heaven by which we can be saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Before we pray for your job change, we encourage you to first consider God's will in your life above all else. It's crucial to seek His kingdom and righteousness first, and then trust that He will provide for your needs, as Matthew 6:33-34 (WEB) tells us, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this individual who is seeking a new job. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You guide them to a job that not only meets their financial needs but also allows them to serve You better. We pray for a job that offers flexible hours and a healthier environment for their mental well-being. We rebuke any anxiety they have and know that it is not a spirit of God. We pray these things and ask for your guidance in Jesus' name.

We also pray that they will grow in their relationship with You, trusting in Your plan for their life. Help them to seek Your kingdom and righteousness first, knowing that You will provide for all their needs.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
