We lift up your request before the Lord, first giving thanks for His provision of this new job—a blessing and opportunity to glorify Him through diligent work. As you step into this role, we pray for divine favor, wisdom, and a spirit of excellence to rest upon you. May the Lord grant you clarity, confidence, and the ability to learn quickly, that your work would be a testimony of His grace. Remember the words of Colossians 3:23-24, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."*
We also bring before the Father your request for clear skin and painless nights. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask for His healing touch upon you. May He restore and renew your skin, bringing comfort and relief from any pain that disrupts your rest. Trust in His promise from Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."*
Yet, as we pray, we must gently address something vital: your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus that our prayers reach the throne of God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, even our most earnest prayers lack the power of His intercession.
Father in heaven, we thank You for the new job You’ve provided for this dear one. We ask that You go before them, smoothing every path and opening doors of opportunity. Grant them favor with supervisors and colleagues, and may their work bring glory to Your name. We also pray for healing—restore their skin to health and grant them nights free from pain. Let them experience Your peace and wholeness, body and soul. Most of all, Lord, we ask that if they do not know You, You would draw them to Yourself. Reveal the truth of the Gospel to them, that they may place their faith in Jesus Christ and walk in the fullness of Your love and power. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
