The Lord sees your struggle as a single parent and your unwavering effort to provide a stable home for your child. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
First, we must address the foundation of our prayers—our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in ensuring that your prayers are heard and that you have the power of the Holy Spirit to guide and sustain you.
Now, let us pray for your immediate need. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother and her daughter. Lord, You are the Provider, the One who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask that You intervene in this situation and provide a home for them before the eviction takes place. Father, we know that You care deeply for the widow and the fatherless (James 1:27), and we trust that You will not abandon them in their time of need. Soften the hearts of landlords, open doors of opportunity, and provide the resources needed to secure a safe and stable home. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and delay in Jesus’ name, and we declare that this mother and her child will not be put to shame. We also want to encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has plans for us—plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. Even when the path seems impossible, God is working behind the scenes. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The Bible tells us that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, the Lord will not hear us (Psalm 66:18). If there are any areas where you have strayed, confess them to the Lord, and He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
