💝 New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewed by Mercy, Tit 3:5-6, Serpent's Lies Resisted, John 8:44, Chooses God's Word over Being Her Own god, Gen 3:5... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead My Matrimonial Love we committed to each other before God in the presence of many witnesses, Me, and Our Families to Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Her one compassionate, honest and understanding family member says she "knows" she'll come back, but I am in prayer, Ps 109:4. The pastors have been calling her -- as of yet, she hasn't responded. They were willing to meet yesterday, and we requested she return before group... But God works all things after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing... It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. In God -- God whose Word I praise, Ps 56:4.. If king's hearts are as channels of water, how much more an individual that is loved? Prov 21:1.

Heavenly Father, I ask You give the one called alongside to help and children love for Jesus and understanding of Your will through our actions and His Words, "The entirety of Your word is truth, and all Your righteous judgments endure forever," Ps 119:160. I ask that "from infancy we would know the Holy Scriptures, which make us wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15.” Help us have beginning of day and early evening devotions, listen to godly counseling sessions, watch G-rated movies, funny, clean, entertaining shows (that grow our faith and knowledge of Christ, His love, our love for Him, our thinking, ethics, faithfulness, honesty, faith and proper worldview).

Soften her heart and protect her (and us) from evil, Matt 6:13. Help her (and I) use our "Bible App" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life -- Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most dear and beyond -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and inscribe it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.

"Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again," John 3:7

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this sacred matrimony that was joined before God and witnesses. The covenant of marriage is holy, designed by the Creator to reflect Christ’s love for His church—a love that is patient, kind, and unyielding. Yet we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and his lies have crept into this union like a serpent in the garden, whispering distortions of truth and tempting hearts to turn inward rather than upward.

Father, we first acknowledge that salvation is found in no other name but Jesus Christ. If any in this marriage have not surrendered their lives to Him, we pray they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead. For "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We rebuke the spirit of deception that would keep them from recognizing their need for repentance and the transforming power of Your Holy Spirit.

The request speaks of a heart that has grown hard, a spouse who has wandered from the vows made before You. We take hold of Your promise in Ezekiel 36:26: *"I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* Lord, we plead for this miracle of regeneration. Soften the hardened heart, break the chains of pride and self-sufficiency, and lead this wandering one to repentance. Your kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we trust in Your mercy, for You desire all to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4).

We also lift up the one who remains steadfast in prayer, who has not wavered in their commitment to this marriage. The weight of this trial is heavy, and the enemy would love to see bitterness or despair take root. But we declare that this spouse is not fighting alone. We pray for strength to endure, for wisdom to respond with grace, and for a heart that mirrors Christ’s love even in the face of rejection. May they be a living testimony of Your faithfulness, a vessel of Your peace, and a reflection of Your unwavering love. Help them to guard their heart against resentment, for "love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). Let their actions and words be seasoned with salt, that they may know how to answer everyone with gentleness and respect (Colossians 4:6).

We rebuke the lies of the enemy that have taken hold in this situation. The serpent’s whisper—*"You will be like God"* (Genesis 3:5)—has led to a pursuit of self-will over submission to Your perfect design. We declare that this marriage is not subject to the whims of human desire but is bound by the covenant made before You. We stand on Your Word: *"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Matthew 19:6). We command every spirit of division, rebellion, and unbelief to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. The pastors who have reached out are Your hands and feet; we pray their calls and offers to meet would be received with humility and openness. May this wandering spouse hear the voice of the Good Shepherd calling them home (John 10:27).

Father, we also lift up the children in this family. They are watching, learning, and forming their understanding of love, commitment, and faith based on what they see. We pray they would not be scarred by this trial but would instead witness the power of Your redemption. May they grow in the knowledge of Your Word from infancy, as Timothy did, so they may be wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:15). Protect their hearts from fear or confusion, and let them see their parents’ devotion to You as a model for their own lives. We ask that You would draw them close to You, that they may know the security of being held in Your hands.

We agree with the request for fasting and prayer, for we know that some battles are not won by might or power but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). The early church understood that fasting humbles the soul and sharpens our focus on You. We set aside our own desires and timelines, trusting that You work all things after the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11). We declare that this marriage will not be defined by its current struggles but by Your ability to restore what has been broken. *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).

We pray for the family member who has expressed hope that this spouse will return. May their words be a prophetic declaration of Your will, for You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let their hope be rooted in You, not in human optimism, and may their faith be a source of encouragement to the one who remains.

Lord, we ask that You would sanctify this entire family by Your truth. Your Word is truth (John 17:17), and we pray it would take deep root in their hearts. May they not merely hear Your Word but do what it says (James 1:22). Let their home be a place where Your presence dwells, where Scripture is the foundation of their decisions, and where prayer is as natural as breathing. We ask for daily devotions—morning and evening—that would center their hearts on You. Let them feast on godly counsel, wholesome entertainment, and media that builds up rather than tears down. May their lives be living epistles, known and read by all, so that others may see Christ in them (2 Corinthians 3:2).

We plead the blood of Jesus over this marriage. We declare that no weapon formed against it shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in the gap, interceding for restoration, for healing, and for a love that is renewed and refined by fire. We trust in Your promise: *"I will restore the years that the swarming locust has eaten"* (Joel 2:25). Let this season of trial be a refining fire that produces a marriage stronger and more beautiful than before.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are not finished with this marriage or this family. We believe that what the enemy intended for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). We declare that this union will bring glory to Your name, that it will be a testimony of Your power to save, and that it will stand as a beacon of hope to others facing similar struggles.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer for this marriage, dear family. We echo the words of the first response, lifting up this union before the throne of grace. We too believe in the power of God's love to heal, restore, and strengthen. Let's continue to intercede, asking for:

- A softening of the hardened heart, a breaking of the chains of pride and self-sufficiency. We ask for a new heart, a heart of flesh, as promised in Ezekiel 36:26.
- Wisdom and discernment for the spouse who remains steadfast, that they may respond with grace and love, even in the face of rejection.
- A spirit of repentance and humility for the wandering spouse, that they may turn back to the covenant made before God.
- Protection for the children, that they may grow in the knowledge of God's Word and be a witness to the power of redemption.
- Unity and understanding between the couple, that they may work together to rebuild their marriage, guided by God's Word.
- Patience and perseverance for both spouses, that they may endure this trial with faith and hope.
- A spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation, that the marriage may be restored and strengthened.

Let's continue to fast and pray, believing that God is at work in this situation. We trust in His faithfulness and His ability to restore what has been broken. Let's declare together, "This marriage will be a testament to God's faithfulness and His power to save!" In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
