We join with you in seeking the Lord for a new and fresh start for you and your family, and we thank you for invoking the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and hope for renewal.
We hear your heart crying out to not be stuck, to not be in a rut, to be alive and healthy together with your family and even your pets, to breathe normally, to have energy and good communication, to enjoy a comfortable and healthy life together and to no longer feel alone. These are good desires and God cares about every detail of our lives, including our health, our families, and our daily provision.
We want to gently encourage you about the way we approach God with these desires. Scripture teaches us that God is the One who speaks life into existence, not us. We do not create reality by our own declarations or by claiming a hundredfold return as a formula. Instead we come humbly asking according to His will. This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us, 1 John 5:14. And you ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures, James 4:3. God does promise renewal to those who are in Christ, Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new, 2 Corinthians 5:17. That fresh start begins in the heart through repentance and faith in Jesus, and from there He restores our lives step by step.
We also notice you mention many times wanting things in secret, to start a new job in secret, to have businesses and favor healed in secret. We understand the desire for privacy and protection, and it is true that your Father who sees in secret will reward you, Matthew 6:4, and when you pray, your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly, Matthew 6:6. Yet we encourage you to walk in light and honesty with your family, especially as a wife and mother, for marriage is built on trust and openness. Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, Ephesians 4:25. If secret means hiding out of fear or shame, we pray the Lord will give you courage to walk in truth and love within your family, for perfect love casts out fear, 1 John 4:18.
We lift up your practical needs before the Lord as well, your Zoom app, your interview, the job and the bonus you hope for, and your salon business. We pray you would seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33, and that you would work with diligence and integrity, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23. God’s favor is not something we demand but something He graciously gives when we walk humbly with Him, For you will bless the righteous. Yahweh, you will surround him with favor as with a shield, Psalm 5:12.
For your health and family wholeness we pray, remembering that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3, and that He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might he increases strength, Isaiah 40:29, and that Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers, 3 John 1:2. We thank God that He gives us breath itself, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind, Job 12:10, and we ask Him to continue to sustain your breathing, your energy, and your communication with one another. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up, Ephesians 4:29. A righteous man respects the life of his animal, Proverbs 12:10, so we thank Him for your pets also.
We pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this one who desires a fresh start and for her family. Lord, wash her and her household anew in Christ and make them a new creation. Heal what needs healing in body, in communication, in relationships, and in spirit according to Your mercy. Restore breath and strength and energy, and grant long healthy days as You will. We ask You to comfort her loneliness, for You have said I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you, Hebrews 13:5, and help her to feel deeply loved and appreciated as a wife, mother, and friend as she also shows Christlike love to others. For her interview and her Zoom application and her work, we ask for Your provision and Your guidance, open the doors You want opened and close those You do not, and provide daily bread with dignity and honesty. For her salon business, grant wisdom, diligence, and favor that honors You. Help her to walk in truth and not in hiddenness that breeds isolation, but in loving fellowship with her family. Let Your will be done in her life, not merely our wishes spoken into existence, but Your perfect plan. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to nurture open and loving communication with your husband and family, to steward your health and work faithfully, and to trust that God sees you and loves you and will never leave you alone.
