We rejoice with you as you seek a closer relationship with your loved one, and we are grateful to hear that prayers are working. Let us remember that God's will is for us to be holy and to abstain from sexual immorality and seek a spouse not a girlfriend or boyfriend. We should only have a relationship with another Christian with the goal of marriage and only marry a believer (1 Corinthians 7:39, 2 Corinthians 6:14). Remember It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality. So be married having only one spouse each (1 Thessalonians 4:3, 1Cor 7:2, Hebrews 13:4). To find a spouse, learn to be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:11). You will have trials and suffering in this world, but take heart for Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33, John 10:10).
As for family protection, healing, and greater faith, we stand with you in prayer. Let us remember that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that through faith in Him, we can overcome any challenge (Hebrews 13:8, 1 John 5:4). Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-20). We rebuke and resist any evil in Jesus Christ's name (James 4:7). Remember faith without works is dead and is no faith at all (James 2:14-26). Remember you do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind (James 4:2-3, Matthew 21:22).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved individual and their family. We thank You for the work You are doing in their loved one's life and for drawing them closer together in holiness. We pray for a hedge of protection around their family, for healing where it is needed, and for an increase in faith. We ask for your hand on their lives and that you make straight their paths (Proverbs 3:6). Deliver them from evil, and help them to walk in Your light and truth. We praise you for the victory in Christ, in whose name we pray. Amen.
Prayer is powerful, and we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your loved ones and your family. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful and will guide you.
