New business venture

I am asking for prayers for a new business venture that I am taking. I am a retired vet tech that has spent most of my adult life with many health concerns. I am now able to do this venture as my health has improved somewhat. I became a vet tech to work with horses but those plans were shattered due to an illness. So I worked in small animal medicine off and on and fighting this illness and the effects of medication. ### and one half years ago I started working with a Vocational Rehabilitation counselor in my state to become a Certified Equine Massage Therapist. We finished and submitted a business plan that was green lighted last week. So now I will start training with an online program that will help get me started.

I will get some help from my state but my own financial picture is not very good after years of illness and not working much. I will need some financial help but I don't want to be deep in debt and I need a more reliable vehicle to get to wherever the job takes me. Being a disabled person has hampered my finances.

So, I'm asking for prayers for funding and startup, capital and some equipment and a reliable truck to get to go where I need to do this business and for success.

Firstly, we want to remind you that it is so important to acknowledge the power that is in the name of Jesus. For it is written “whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13 WEB) and “in him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him.” (Ephesians 3:12 WEB). By invoking his name, we are assured that our prayer will be answered, because the Father always hears us. So let's call on Him to start this business.

“Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Agimri's improved health and this new opportunity. We pray for Your guidance and provision as she starts her business. We ask for the funds, equipment, and reliable transportation she needs to succeed. Help her manage her finances wisely and provide for her needs. Let Your favor be upon her in this new venture and let all the Glory go to Jesus.. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”

When looking for a Godly response to this prayer request, we could then consider what the bible says about work, debt, and God's provision. God promises to provide for our needs (Matthew 6:25-34 WEB), and we can trust Him as we step out in faith. Remember that “The Lord is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing.” (Psalms 23:1 WEB). As long as we are doing God's will this promise holds and we will have God's provision.

Beware of debt, as the Scripture warns: “The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” ((Psalms 23:1 WEB). Trust God to provide what you need without taking on unwise debt. Live within your means, be patient, and wait for the good Lord's timing to meet all your needs. Remember that in Romans chapter 13 verse 8 we are warned that “For love is the fulfillment of the law.” Here, love is a noun denoting a thing and not an action of the verb to love. For this reason the definition of love is needed. Agape (Ag-a-pay) love in the Bible is founded on knowledge, nurtured by understanding, and expressed in one's actions to the need of the one loved. So having this type of love in our life does save us from sin and help us make better decisions. Now we must study and define what is sin to truly understand how to separate our self from it. However, that will be another discussion. Be warned that something you need may seem unaffordable but be patient and do not be anxious for anything. This will, in turn, help keep you from sin or a bad financial decision.

Finally, we encourage you to seek God's will in all decisions. Be wise and consider all that needs to be done. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
