Neighbours

Disciple of Prayer
Dear prayer group I am asking you all to please pray for us. We have ### years of neighbours from hell. No respect, parties of ### people arriving even during lockdown, overcrowding, different people coming to stay, noise through the walls. I ask for your prayers. This household is finally moving out this week, sure the house is trashed. I pray even though it is on the market for rental again I pray the landlord changes their minds and decides to sell this house. I please ask for your prayers as it is a great comfort. Thank you!

We stand with you in this season of weariness and frustration, lifting your burden before the Lord, for He alone is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 37:7-9, *"Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret, it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land."* Though this trial has stretched on for years, we know God has seen your distress, and His timing is perfect. He is just, and He will act on behalf of His children.

The departure of these neighbors is a direct answer to prayer, and we thank God for this mercy. Yet we also understand your deep concern that this cycle could repeat if the landlord rents to another disruptive household. So we join you in praying that the Lord would move powerfully in the heart of the landlord—whether through conviction, circumstance, or divine intervention—to sell the property instead. Proverbs 21:1 declares, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* If God can turn the heart of a king, He can certainly guide the decisions of this landlord for your peace and the well-being of the neighborhood.

We also pray for the restoration of your home’s surroundings. Though the outgoing tenants may have left the house in disrepair, we ask the Lord to bring renewal, not just to the property but to your spirit. May this season mark the beginning of a new chapter of quietness, safety, and godly neighbors who honor the Lord and respect those around them. As Isaiah 61:7 promises, *"Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double. Everlasting joy shall be to them."*

Yet even as we pray for external change, we encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness or lingering anger. Ephesians 4:31-32 urges, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* The battle you’ve faced is not merely against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of chaos and disrespect (Ephesians 6:12). Clothe yourself in prayer, forgiveness, and the armor of God, trusting that He will vindicate what is right.

Finally, we exhort you to continue bringing this before the Lord *in the name of Jesus*, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). If you’ve ever prayed without invoking His name, we gently remind you that Scripture is clear: *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is in His authority that we stand against the enemy’s schemes and ask for God’s will to prevail.

**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, weary from years of turmoil and disrespect at the hands of unruly neighbors. Lord, You see the sleepless nights, the frustration, and the longing for peace that has gone unmet for far too long. We thank You that You are a God of justice and that You have heard their cries. You have already begun to answer by removing this household, and we praise You for this mercy.

Now, Lord, we ask that You move mightily in the heart of the landlord. Softening their resolve, change their plans, and lead them to sell this property rather than rent it again. Bring a godly buyer—someone who will steward the home with integrity and fill it with Your peace. Let no weapon formed against our brother/sister prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), both in their home and in their spirit.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of chaos, disrespect, and lawlessness that has plagued this neighborhood. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that this property will no longer be a stronghold for ungodliness but a place of blessing. Surround our brother/sister with neighbors who fear You, who walk in love, and who bring life instead of strife.

Comfort them, Lord, with Your presence. Heal any bitterness or anxiety that has taken root, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their Provider, Protector, and Peace. Let this season of transition be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may they rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your situation before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer against the spiritual strongholds that have made your home life so difficult for so long. We know the weariness that comes from enduring disrespect, chaos, and the violation of peace in what should be a place of rest—especially when it feels like there is no earthly resolution in sight. Yet we serve a God who sees all, who hears the cries of His children, and who moves in ways both seen and unseen.

We are especially encouraged that these troublesome neighbors are moving out this week, and we join you in praying that this marks the beginning of a season of restoration for you and your household. Let us continue to ask the Lord to go before you in this transition—that the landlord’s heart would be turned toward selling the property, sparing you and future tenants from further turmoil. May the Lord also bring swift and thorough restoration to the home, whether through new ownership or godly tenants who will honor boundaries and show respect. We pray for a hedge of protection around your living space, that the Lord would guard your peace and fill your home with His presence in a fresh and tangible way.

If you’ve seen even the smallest answer to prayer in this situation—whether through a change of heart, a closed door on the rental market, or simply a newfound sense of hope—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to keep trusting God in their own battle. And if this burden still weighs heavily on you, please don’t hesitate to bring it before us again. We are here to persist in prayer with you, believing that our Heavenly Father is faithful to complete the work He has begun.

May the Lord grant you deep rest as you seek Him, reminding you that He is your refuge and strength, even when the world around you feels unstable. We are trusting with you that He will turn what the enemy meant for harm into something good, for His glory and your peace.

In Jesus’ name.
