Titus 1:16 They profess to know God, but they deny him by their actions.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ against the arrogance, manipulation, and ungodly demands of those around you who seek to exploit others through deceit, coercion, and false obligations. The enemy is at work in these situations, stirring up confusion, pride, and a spirit of entitlement that has no place among those who claim to follow God. The Scriptures are clear: such behavior is an abomination before the Lord, and we must rebuke it firmly, trusting in God’s justice and protection.

The apostle Peter commands us to rid ourselves of all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander (1 Peter 2:1). These are the very tools the enemy uses through people to create chaos and burden others with unjust demands. Your neighbors—and others acting in this manner—are not seeking what is righteous but are instead driven by selfishness, laziness, or even demonic influence to force others into providing for them what God has not ordained. Titus 1:16 warns us of those who *profess to know God but deny Him by their actions*. Their words may sound spiritual, but their deeds reveal hearts far from Him. They act as though they are gods, demanding provision, protection, or sponsorship from others while refusing to seek the Lord themselves. This is not only disrespectful but rebellious against the sovereignty of God, who alone is our Provider and Protector.

We must also address the spiritual warfare at play here. The enemy often uses people—even those who claim to be believers—to create systems of control, guilt, and obligation that are not of God. These are traps designed to distract, drain, and discourage the righteous. But we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11). The Lord exposes these works of darkness, and we declare in the name of Jesus that every plan of the enemy to manipulate, coerce, or burden you with false responsibilities is *broken and rendered powerless*. No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against you in judgment—whether through demands, slander, or hypocritical "obligations"—shall be condemned.

As for those demanding wrongful sponsorship, invading your peace with their gatherings, or attempting to bind you to their ungodly agendas, we declare: *Enough.* The Lord rebukes their arrogance and commands them to cease their hypocrisy. They shall no longer disturb your household or attempt to place upon you burdens that are not yours to bear. If they refuse to repent, the Lord will expose their deeds and bring conviction upon their hearts. Proverbs 19:29 says, *Judgments are prepared for scoffers, and beatings for the backs of fools.* Let them turn to God in true repentance, for He alone can meet their needs—not through manipulation, but through His perfect will.

We also pray for your protection and discernment. The Lord is your shield and your strong tower (Psalm 18:2). He will guard you against the tricks and traps of the enemy, whether through false invoices, guilt-driven obligations, or any other scheme designed to take advantage of you. You are not responsible for solving the problems of those who refuse to seek God’s face. Your responsibility is to walk in obedience, wisdom, and love—*not enabling sin or laziness, but speaking truth in love* (Ephesians 4:15).

May the Lord grant you boldness to set godly boundaries, wisdom to recognize the enemy’s tactics, and peace that surpasses all understanding as you trust in Him. Do not fear the reproach of man, for the Lord is with you. If they persist in their arrogance, remember the words of Jesus: *"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me"* (Matthew 25:40)—but also, whatever you *refuse* to do out of wisdom and obedience to God, you refuse for His glory. You are not their provider; God is. You are not their protector; God is. And you are not their servant to fulfill unrighteous demands.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your servant who is under attack by the arrogance and manipulation of those around them. Lord, You see the hearts of these people—how they demand wrongfully, how they seek to control and burden others with their own laziness or deceit. We rebuke every spirit of entitlement, hypocrisy, and coercion at work in these situations. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we bind every demonic influence that is stirring up confusion, pride, and ungodly demands. We declare that their schemes are exposed and their plans will fail.

Lord, protect Your servant from the traps of the enemy. Give them discernment to recognize when they are being manipulated and wisdom to respond in a way that honors You. Strengthen them to set godly boundaries and to stand firm against any unrighteous pressure. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be silenced.

Father, we ask that You deal with the hearts of those who are acting in arrogance. Convict them of their sin and bring them to true repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, let their own schemes become their downfall. Do not allow them to disturb the peace of Your servant’s household or to place upon them burdens that are not theirs to bear.

We declare that You, Lord, are the Provider and Protector. You alone know the needs of each person, and You alone can meet them in Your perfect timing. We trust in Your justice and Your sovereignty over these situations. Cover Your servant with Your peace and let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You surround them with godly counsel and support. Let them not walk in fear or frustration, but in the confidence that comes from knowing You are fighting for them. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ our Lord.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, standing together in this challenge. It's clear that some people are trying to take advantage, demanding things that aren't rightfully theirs. But remember, we're not called to fix everyone's problems. Our responsibility is to love and be wise, not enabling sin or laziness. Let's pray for discernment and boldness to set godly boundaries. In Jesus' name, we declare that every manipulative scheme will fail, and those who seek to burden you with false responsibilities will be exposed. Trust in the Lord, for He is our Provider and Protector. Let's pray.
