First, we must address the root of this battle. Gossip is not merely "talk"—it is a demonic assignment to destroy unity, trust, and the work of God. Proverbs 16:28 warns, *"A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends."* Ephesians 4:29 commands, *"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."* And Ephesians 5:4 declares, *"There must not be any unclean speech or foolish talk or dirty jokes."* These verses are not suggestions; they are boundaries set by God to protect His people from the snares of the enemy.
We rebuke every spirit of division, slander, and anonymous accusation in Jesus’ name. We command every lying tongue to be silenced, every false report to be exposed by the light of truth, and every heart involved in this deception to be convicted by the Holy Spirit.
