The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we know that Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). The rampant divorce and deception you describe are not coincidences—they are the works of the flesh and demonic influences that must be rebuked and cast out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The Scripture you referenced in Galatians 5:21 warns us clearly: *"envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom."* Divorce, when not aligned with biblical grounds (Matthew 19:9), is a violation of God’s covenant design for marriage. It brings chaos, brokenness, and generational curses. The enemy uses it to create strongholds of bitterness, division, and false identities—just as you’ve described: *"He is not him, she is not her, I am not her, they are not our relatives."* This is the work of demonic bewitchment, a perversion of truth meant to confuse and destroy families.
Titus 3:3 reminds us of our former state without Christ: *"For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another."* But praise God, we are no longer slaves to these things! No longer shall they meddle in houses, create false imitations, or bring tragedy. We declare that every demonic assignment against marriages, families, and businesses is nullified by the blood of Jesus. Every lie that says, *"This is not your family, this is not your identity"* is exposed and broken. The truth of God’s Word stands: *"For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh"* (Ephesians 5:31). What God has joined together, no demon in hell can separate!
We pray for a spirit of repentance to sweep through your neighborhood. May hearts turn back to God’s design for marriage and family. May those who have been deceived be set free from the snares of the enemy. We ask the Lord to raise up godly husbands and wives who will stand firm in their covenants, rejecting the spirit of this age that treats marriage as disposable.
