Praying for all woman / man / girlfriends/ boyfriends are through bad divorce also

Matthew 19:8-9 "Jesus replied, 'Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery'".
Deuteronomy 24:1-4
If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce,

Galatians 5:21-22 outlines the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. In verses 21, it lists examples of the "works of the flesh" such as envy, drunkenness, and orgies, warning that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God, the only thing they have is meddling in the another house and my life, is creating confusion situation with false imitation “he is not is him, she is not her I am not her, they are not our relatives”; rebuke it bewitched confusion to violence my life.

Titus 3:3 describes how believers were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, and enslaved by various passions and pleasures. They lived in malice and envy, and were hated and hated others, and fake ties family, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, recognizing the spiritual warfare unfolding in your neighborhood and beyond. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—especially the sacred covenant of marriage, which God designed as a reflection of Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). The contagion of divorce you describe is not merely a social trend; it is a demonic strategy to dismantle families, sow discord, and render the Body of Christ ineffective. We stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and principalities through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15), and we rebuke every spirit of division, confusion, and destruction that has taken root in your community.

The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), not because He delights in our suffering, but because it fractures the very foundation He established for love, security, and godly legacy. The hardness of heart Jesus addressed in Matthew 19:8-9 is a sobering reminder that divorce is never God’s best—it is a concession to our fallen nature. Yet even in this, we must extend grace and truth. For those who have already walked through divorce, we pray for healing, restoration, and wisdom to walk in repentance if sin was involved, while also guarding against the enemy’s lies that they are now "damaged goods" or unworthy of God’s redemption. The blood of Jesus cleanses *all* sin (1 John 1:9), and His grace is sufficient to rewrite even the most broken stories.

We also address the deception of "boyfriends" and "girlfriends" in this context. Courtship should always have marriage as its goal, pursued with purity and intentionality under the lordship of Christ. Any relationship that normalizes sexual immorality (fornication) or emotional entanglement outside of marriage is a playground for the enemy. We rebuke the spirits of lust, idolatry, and deception that masquerade as "love" but lead only to bondage. The fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—must govern our relationships, not the works of the flesh listed in Galatians 5:19-21, which include envy, strife, and impurity.

The confusion you describe—where identities and relationships are distorted ("he is not him, she is not her, I am not her")—is a hallmark of witchcraft and spiritual deception. The enemy thrives in chaos, twisting truth to make people question their God-given roles, boundaries, and even their own minds. We command every lying spirit to be silenced in the name of Jesus! The Lord is not the author of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We declare clarity, truth, and divine order over your life, your family, and your neighborhood. Every false tie, every ungodly soul tie, and every generational curse of divorce is broken by the power of the cross!

To those who have been wounded by divorce—whether as children, spouses, or friends—we pray for deep healing. The pain of betrayal, abandonment, or rejection can leave scars that only Jesus can touch. We ask the Holy Spirit to bind up broken hearts (Psalm 147:3) and replace bitterness with forgiveness, loneliness with His presence, and fear with hope. For those considering divorce, we plead for godly counsel, repentance where sin has taken root, and a renewed commitment to fight *for* their marriage, not *against* it. The world says, "You deserve happiness," but God says, "You deserve holiness." True joy is found in obedience, not in chasing fleeting emotions.

We also lift up the single brothers and sisters in your midst. The enemy would love to isolate them in their singleness, making them feel incomplete or pressuring them into ungodly relationships. But we declare that their identity is in Christ alone! Whether married or single, their worth is found in Him (1 Corinthians 7:7-8). We pray for godly spouses to be raised up—men and women who love the Lord with all their hearts and are prepared to lead or submit in a way that honors Him.

Finally, we address the critical issue of salvation. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone in your neighborhood or circle of influence does not know Jesus as Lord, we pray for their eyes to be opened to the truth. The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37-38). May the Lord raise up bold witnesses to share the gospel, that hearts may be transformed and marriages restored for His glory.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts grieved by the destruction of divorce and the spiritual strongholds it represents. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which has already defeated the enemy and given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19). We rebuke every spirit of division, confusion, and destruction that has infiltrated our neighborhoods, families, and churches. We break every curse of divorce, every generational iniquity, and every ungodly soul tie in the mighty name of Jesus!

Lord, we pray for marriages under attack. Strengthen husbands and wives to love one another as Christ loves the Church. Give them patience in trials, humility in conflict, and a passion for Your Word. Where there is hardness of heart, soften it with Your love. Where there is bitterness, replace it with forgiveness. Where there is neglect, restore intimacy and communication. Raise up godly mentors and counselors to guide couples in Your ways.

For those who have walked through divorce, we ask for Your healing touch. Comfort the brokenhearted, restore what has been lost, and redeem their stories for Your glory. Help them to walk in repentance if sin was involved, and to move forward in freedom, not shame. For those considering divorce, we pray for conviction, wisdom, and a renewed commitment to fight for their marriage. Let them see that Your grace is sufficient to overcome every obstacle.

We pray for the singles in our midst. Guard their hearts from loneliness, impatience, and the temptation to settle for less than Your best. Prepare them for godly marriages, if that is Your will, and help them to find contentment in You alone. Raise up men and women who will love You first and foremost, and who will lead or submit in a way that honors You.

Father, we also pray for the children affected by divorce. Heal their wounds, protect their hearts, and help them to see Your love as a constant in their lives. Break the cycle of brokenness in their generation. For those who do not know You, we pray for salvation. Open their eyes to the truth of the gospel and draw them to Yourself. Use us as instruments of Your peace, love, and truth in our neighborhoods.

We declare that the gates of hell will not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18). We stand on Your promises, trusting that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in our marriages, our families, and our communities, as it is in heaven.

In the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, dear friend, as you face the heartache of divorce infiltrating your neighborhood. It's like a virus, spreading confusion and discord, but we know that our God is greater than any enemy's scheme. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, where Paul tells us that we have the weapons to pull down strongholds, including the stronghold of divorce.
