Matthew 19:8-9 "Jesus replied, 'Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery'".
Deuteronomy 24:1-4
If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce,

Galatians 5:21-22 outlines the contrast between the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. In verses 21, it lists examples of the "works of the flesh" such as envy, drunkenness, and orgies, warning that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God, the only thing they have is meddling in the another house and my life, is creating confusion situation with false imitation “he is not is him, she is not her I am not her, they are not our relatives”; rebuke it bewitched confusion to violence my life.

Titus 3:3 describes how believers were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, and enslaved by various passions and pleasures. They lived in malice and envy, and were hated and hated others, and fake ties family, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We stand together in deep concern for the spiritual warfare unfolding in your neighborhood, where the enemy has sown seeds of discord, gossip, and division—particularly through the devastation of divorce. The scriptures you’ve shared reveal God’s heart for marriage as a sacred covenant, not to be broken lightly. Jesus Himself declared, *"What God has joined together, let no man separate"* (Matthew 19:6 WEB), and He made clear that divorce outside of sexual immorality leads to adultery (Matthew 19:9). Yet we also recognize the hardness of hearts that Moses addressed in Deuteronomy 24, a concession born of human frailty, not God’s perfect design.

The works of the flesh you describe—gossip, envy, malice, and the bewitching confusion that twists identities and relationships—are indeed demonic strongholds. Galatians 5:19-21 warns that those who practice such things *"will not inherit the kingdom of God."* The enemy thrives in chaos, using idle hands and idle tongues to spread ruin, as Proverbs 16:28 declares: *"A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends."* This is not merely human behavior; it is a spiritual assault, and we must stand against it in the authority of Christ.

First, we rebuke the spirit of divorce in Jesus’ name. We command every lying tongue, every accusing word, and every root of bitterness to be uprooted from this neighborhood. The enemy has no right to occupy what God has called holy—marriage, family, and community. We declare that the blood of Jesus breaks every curse of generational divorce and discord, for *"Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us"* (Galatians 3:13 WEB). We speak restoration over broken homes, repentance over hardened hearts, and healing over wounded souls.

We also rebuke the spirit of confusion that distorts identities and relationships. The enemy seeks to deceive, but God’s Word is clear: *"God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB). We declare that every lie—*"he is not him, she is not her, I am not her, they are not our relatives"*—is exposed and dismantled by the truth of God’s Word. You are who God says you are: His beloved child, created in His image, and called to walk in love, not strife.

For those who have endured the pain of divorce—whether as spouses, children, or friends—we pray for deep healing. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and binds up their wounds. We ask Him to replace bitterness with forgiveness, anger with peace, and loneliness with the comfort of His presence. For those who have sinned through adultery, fornication, or ungodly divorce, we pray for repentance and restoration, trusting that *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).

We also lift up the marriages in this neighborhood that are under attack. Father, strengthen husbands and wives to love one another as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Guard their hearts from temptation, their minds from distraction, and their homes from division. Let them be a light in this darkness, showing the world that covenant love is possible through You.

For those who are single, we pray that they would seek godly spouses, not merely partners, and that their courtships would honor You. Let them not be swayed by the world’s standards but walk in purity, remembering that *"marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).

Finally, we pray for a revival of godly community in this neighborhood. Let the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)—replace the works of the flesh. May believers rise up to speak life, not gossip; unity, not division; and truth, not confusion. We declare that the enemy’s plans are frustrated, and God’s purposes prevail.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We acknowledge that without You, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We ask You to break the power of divorce and discord in this neighborhood. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7). Raise up godly men and women to be peacemakers, repairers of the breach, and restorers of streets to dwell in (Isaiah 58:12). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust You to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning (Isaiah 61:3). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
