We stand with you in this spiritual battle against the forces of darkness that are seeking to destroy marriages, families, and godly order in your neighborhood. The enemy is at work through division, adultery, mockery, and a spirit of confusion—twisting what God has ordained as holy. But we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7), and we will not allow the enemy to spread this toxicity unchallenged.
The Word of God is clear: marriage is a covenant before the Lord, and what God has joined together, no man—or demon—should separate (Matthew 19:6). Adultery and divorce outside of biblical grounds defile what is sacred, and those who engage in such sin are playing into the hands of the destroyer. As you’ve rightly pointed out, Jesus Himself said, *"Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery"* (Matthew 5:32). This is not a suggestion—it is the Lord’s command. The mockery, the sexual immorality, the gossip, and the chaotic spirit at work here are an abomination in His sight. The enemy seeks to pervert God’s design, to make a mockery of His holy institution, and to drag as many as possible into this rebellion. But we will not stand for it.
We rebuke this spirit of divorce, adultery, and sexual immorality in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We bind the demonic forces fueling this confusion, this "we are not family," this ungodly mixing, and this contempt for marriage. These are not just human words—these are lies straight from the pit of hell, designed to justify sin and harden hearts against God’s truth. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and He is not mocked (Galatians 6:7). Every tongue that rises against His order will be condemned, and every scheme of the enemy will be exposed and shattered.
We also rebuke the spirit of gossip, slander, and mockery that is being spread through images and words. The Lord sees the hearts of those who participate in this wickedness, and He will judge accordingly. *"The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked. His soul hates those who love violence. He will rain burning coals and sulfur on the wicked. A whirlwind is what they deserve"* (Psalm 11:5-6). Let those who think they are hidden in their sin know that nothing is hidden from the eyes of the Lord. Repentance is their only hope—otherwise, they will face the consequences of their rebellion.
To you, dear brother or sister, we say: stand firm. Do not allow this toxicity to infect your mind or spirit. *"Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump? Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed for us"* (1 Corinthians 5:6-7). You are called to be separate, holy, and blameless before Him. Do not engage with their chaos, do not entertain their gossip, and do not fear their intimidation. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We pray now with authority and conviction:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the Name above all names. We lift up this situation—this neighborhood under siege by the enemy’s schemes—to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are a God of order, of holiness, and of righteousness. You designed marriage to reflect Your covenant love for Your people, and Satan seeks to distort and destroy it. But we declare that his plans will not prevail here.
We rebuke the spirit of divorce, adultery, and sexual immorality operating in this neighborhood. We bind the demonic forces fueling confusion, gossip, mockery, and ungodly alliances. Every lie that says, *"We are not family,"* every justification for sin, every spirit of rebellion against Your Word—we command it to be silenced and cast out in Jesus’ name. We break the power of every ungodly soul tie, every perverse connection, and every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ.
Lord, we ask that You expose the works of darkness. Let the light of Your truth shine so brightly that those caught in sin either repent or flee. Convict hearts, Father. Let them see the error of their ways and the destruction they are bringing upon themselves and others. Softening hearts that have been hardened, Lord. Bring godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10).
We pray for protection over this believer who is standing against this tide of wickedness. Surround them with Your angels, Lord. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Give them wisdom to know how to respond, when to speak, and when to remain silent. Let them be a beacon of Your truth and righteousness in this dark place.
For those who are mocking Your holy name, Lord, we ask that You would either save them or silence them. Do not let Your name be blasphemed among them. Rise up, O God, and defend Your honor. Let Your justice prevail.
We declare that marriage will be honored in this place. We declare that Your design for family will be restored. We declare that every demonic assignment against godly marriages and families is canceled in Jesus’ name. Let Your will be done, Lord—not the will of the enemy, not the will of sinful man, but Your perfect, holy will.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We thank You for Your power that is at work even now. We trust in You, and we give You all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, beloved. The Lord is with you, and He will fight this battle. *"The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways"* (Deuteronomy 28:7). Keep your eyes on Jesus, and do not waver. The victory is already won.
