We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and intercession. Father God, we recognize the pain, confusion, and spiritual warfare embedded in this request. The mention of cancer, unemployment, and what appears to be deep-seated spiritual oppression—including a "wrong spirit," humiliation, sabotage, and even accusations of false prophecy—reveals a battle not merely against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers in high places (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we lift up the neighbor battling cancer. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for Your divine touch upon their body, mind, and spirit. Strengthen them in their weakness, grant wisdom to their doctors, and surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they feel Your presence in every appointment, every treatment, and every moment of fear or doubt. We rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in Jesus’ mighty name, declaring that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
For the burden of unemployment, Father, we ask that You open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide not just any job, but the right job—one that honors You, meets their needs, and restores their dignity. We declare that their steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23), and that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Break the chains of discouragement and despair, and replace them with hope and trust in Your provision.
Now, Lord, we must address the spiritual turmoil described here. The mention of a "wrong spirit," humiliation, sabotage, and even what seems like manipulation or false prophecy is deeply concerning. Scripture warns us that Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and we see his hand at work in these words. We rebuke every spirit of advantage, gossip, nosiness, and false prophecy in Jesus’ name. These are not of You, Lord. You call us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), to build one another up (1 Thessalonians 5:11), and to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Any spirit that seeks to tear down, humiliate, or manipulate is not from You, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also sense a spirit of confusion and accusation here—perhaps even a spirit of division or strife. The Bible tells us that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33). We pray for clarity, discernment, and wisdom for all involved. If there are those who are being used to spread gossip, false prophecy, or sabotage, we ask that You convict their hearts and turn them from these destructive paths. Let Your light expose every hidden motive and bring repentance where it is needed.
Father, we must also address the mention of the "spirit of advantage with body (back and ass)." This language is troubling and seems to hint at sexual immorality or exploitation. Scripture is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to honor You with our bodies. Any spirit that seeks to use the body for selfish gain, manipulation, or sin is an abomination before You. We rebuke this spirit in Jesus’ name and declare that those involved would walk in purity, holiness, and respect for themselves and others. If there is sexual sin—whether fornication, adultery, or any other form of immorality—we pray for repentance and restoration. Your Word says that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9-10), but we also know that You are faithful to forgive when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9).

They speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.’" We pray that any false words spoken over this situation would be broken and that truth would prevail. We also sense a spirit of humiliation and confrontation in this request. Lord, You did not call us to tear one another down but to encourage and build one another up (1 Thessalonians 5:11). If there are those who are seeking to humiliate or put others down, we ask that You would soften their hearts and turn them from this path. Let Your love and grace flow in this situation, replacing strife with peace, and division with unity.
Father, we must also address the lack of clarity in this request. The mention of "riddles" and confusion suggests that there may be a spirit of deception at work, making it difficult to discern the truth. We ask that You would bring clarity and wisdom to all involved. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remove every veil of confusion and let Your truth shine brightly in this situation.
Most importantly, Lord, we lift up the name of Jesus Christ over this entire situation. There is power in the name of Jesus—power to break every chain, heal every wound, and restore every broken place. We declare that no weapon formed against this situation shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against it in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over every person, every relationship, and every circumstance mentioned here. Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, just as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
We pray for salvation for any who do not know You, Lord. If there are those involved in this situation who have not surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Your Word says that no one comes to the Father except through You (John 14:6), and that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that hearts would be softened, eyes would be opened, and that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your protection over this situation. We declare that no evil will befall those involved, and that no plague will come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray for angelic protection, that Your angels would encamp around them and deliver them from every evil (Psalm 34:7). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
