Act 16:31
Believe in the Lord Jesus and then God will save you you and your household

We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up your family before our Heavenly Father, for we hear the deep pain of disunity, betrayal, anger, shouting and insults that have torn at your home since your father passed away. The Lord does not desire this division, for how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity Psalm 133:1. We know that strife over authority and control after a loss is common, but God calls us to let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind each counting others better than himself Philippians 2:3. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger Proverbs 15:1, and we see how yelling and a toxic tongue have wounded all of you.

We rebuke the lies of Satan that have surrounded your family and the words of extermination and hopelessness spoken over your generation. The enemy is a liar and the father of lies John 8:44 and he seeks to devour 1 Peter 5:8, but we take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5. Life and death are in the power of the tongue Proverbs 18:21, so we choose to speak life and blessing over your household and not cursing. While the consequences of disobedience can affect families, the Scripture also says the soul who sins, he shall die, the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father Ezekiel 18:20 and that God is rich in mercy Ephesians 2:4 and desires to restore what has been lost, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten Joel 2:25. We pray for honesty, repentance and healing of hearts, for if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

We are moved by your forgiving heart, for you said you forgive them each day because they do not know what they are doing. That reflects our Lord who said Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing Luke 23:34. Continue in this, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any, even as Christ forgave you, so you also do Colossians 3:13 and let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, and do not give place to the devil Ephesians 4:26-27. Be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger, for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God James 1:19-20.

We especially lift up your mother who is suffering with suicidal thoughts and living in a negative environment with a toxic tongue. We pray God protects her and draws near to her, for The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We ask God to guard her mind and heart and to replace despair with hope, for we know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We encourage her and you to share these heavy burdens with a trusted pastor, counselor or godly family in Christ and to seek help quickly when those thoughts come, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We also pray for your brother and your whole household, that God would provide for their needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We understand the pain of distance, expensive flights, difficult family reunion, finances that feel strained, and a spouse who does not like your family and whom you cannot force. We pray for your marriage, that God would give you and your spouse unity and understanding, and that you would pursue peace with all men if it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. We pray God softens hearts on both sides and gives you wisdom to give help with a cheerful heart and with healthy boundaries, for God loves a cheerful giver 2 Corinthians 9:7, and to trust Him with the outcome when gratitude is lacking.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ and for holding to the promise Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household Acts 16:31. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We cling to the hope that after death we will be together with our loved ones who are in Christ and with our Heavenly Father, for we believe that God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus 1 Thessalonians 4:14 and He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more, neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more Revelation 21:4.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We ask You to heal the hearts of this family, to bring repentance where there has been disobedience and betrayal, and to break the cycle of shouting, insults and ungratefulness. Pour out Your mercy and honesty among them and rebuke every lie of Satan that has brought disunity and sadness. Protect this mother, lift her from suicidal thoughts and toxic speech, fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 and provide for her and for the brother and all the household. Provide for their finances, open a way for reunion in Your timing, and restore the years that have been lost. Soften the heart of the spouse and give this dear one wisdom, patience and love to not force but to entrust all to You. Heal our souls, bind up the brokenhearted Psalm 147:3, and let Your will be done in this family, that they may be saved and live together in Your love. We cast all anxiety on You and trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We have been praying as we read what you shared, and we want to pause first for your mother because you mentioned she is having suicidal thoughts. If she is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country (about 130 countries) at findahelpline.com. You are not alone; trained people are ready to help right now. If you are able, please help her stay connected with someone nearby she trusts, a pastor, or a healthcare professional soon, alongside prayer.

We hear how heavy this has been since your father passed. The shouting and insults, the fighting over who is in charge, the hurt when help you offer is met with ungratefulness, and the distance and cost that keep you apart would wear anyone down. It makes sense that you feel torn between loving your family and not being able to force closeness, especially when your spouse feels distant from them as well.

You mentioned you are choosing to forgive each day even while the pain is still fresh. That is a hard and faithful road. When grief is still raw, families often struggle over control and finances, and it can help to have one calm, trusted person to talk with, whether a pastor or counselor, rather than trying to resolve everything at once. For your mother, please continue to encourage professional support in addition to prayer.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus name. Protect this mother and brother's family, provide for their needs, and bring help close to them. Heal hearts that are angry and sad, bring honesty and gentleness where there has been shouting, and guard each one from the enemy's lies. Give our friend wisdom for what is theirs to do and peace to leave the rest with You.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has been heard and with it the deep sorrow of a house divided against itself. The Lord sees the torment you describe, the disunity and betrayal, the anger and sadness, the shouting and insults where there should be communion, and the striving for authority and control since your father was taken. He sees also the weariness of offering help and finding it rejected with ungratefulness, the pain of distance and costly journeys that keep you from reunion, and the added grief that your spouse holds no affection for your family and you cannot compel love where it is not given.

There is a word that meets you in this very place, and it is this, There is forgiveness with God. It is a divine forgiveness, for He says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. Were all men to withhold their pardon it would not shut you out of heaven, for forgiveness comes from God Himself through Jesus Christ. It is a surprising forgiveness, so great that the Lord speaks as though even He would have us wonder at it, and it is a complete forgiveness. When a man says to his creditor, I have nothing to pay, and the debt is forgiven, the tally is destroyed and the record is nailed to the cross. So it is with every repenting and believing sinner who trusts in Christ. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance, and what He forgives He forgives absolutely and eternally. You have well said that you forgive them each day because they know not what they do. That is the spirit of Christ upon the cross, and it is the joint work to which all Christians are called, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Continue in that daily forgiveness, not because the wound is small, but because you have received so great a forgiveness yourself.

With forgiveness the Lord joins healing. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. The prophet declared that the people that dwell in Zion shall be forgiven their iniquity and the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. When Jesus said to the palsied man, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee, He showed that the soul's pardon brings power to restore what sin has broken. There is abundance of healing power in Christ to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. He who was betrayed with a kiss knows the sting of betrayal in a family and in the heart. Scripture was fulfilled in His betrayal, sin reached its culminating point, atonement was completed, and now our great High Priest is able to sympathize with you in every point of domestic grief and treachery.

Let us pray together for what you have asked.

We ask the Lord to rebuke the lies of Satan that have encircled your household, to scatter the accusations and suspicions and to bring honesty into every heart. We ask Him to heal the divisions that have followed your father's death, to quiet the contention for control, to turn shouting into sober speech and insults into words seasoned with grace. We ask Him to give you wisdom in showing mercy with finances, to supply what is needed without encouraging unthankfulness, and to provide clear information and faithful stewardship among you. Though you are far away and the cost of travel is great, we ask the Lord who is rich in mercy to make a way for reunion in His time, and where earthly reunion is hindered, to keep you knit together in Christ by love and prayer. We ask Him to help you to honor your marriage covenant while you also honor your mother and your family, not forcing affection but walking in patience and peace as far as it lies with you.

We lift up your mother before the God of all comfort. The Lord knows her suicidal thoughts, the toxic tongue and negative environment that oppresses her, and the heavy responsibility she bears for your brother's family. We pray that God will preserve her life, guard her mind, heal her soul, and surround her with provision and protection. May He lift the heaviness and set her feet upon the promise that there is forgiveness and life even now for all who look to Christ. We urge that she not walk alone in this darkness, but that she be brought under the care of faithful pastors and trusted helpers who can watch over her closely and minister the Word and practical help day by day.

You have quoted well, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. That promise is sure, yet its fulfillment is not by a mere natural descent but as each soul personally believes on Him. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Therefore we pray that every member of your household may be brought to repentance and living faith, that the years which have been lost through mistakes and disobedience may be recovered by the mercy of God, and that whether you meet again in this life or after death, you may meet in the heavenly Father's presence through Jesus, forgiven and reconciled.

May the Lord keep you steadfast, forgiving as you have been forgiven, hoping in His healing, and resting in the certainty that there is forgiveness with Him, now and forever, through the blood of His Son.

Your burden for your family has been heard and we join you in prayer before our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is our salvation and our peace.

We hear how heavy this season has been since your father passed away, with disunity and betrayal, shouting and insults, sadness and anger taking the place of love, and with distance and costly travel making reunion so difficult. We hear too your pain when your offers of help, even financial help, are met with ingratitude or silence, and the added sorrow that your spouse does not share your love for your family and you cannot force that affection. God sees all of this and He is rich in mercy, able to recover what years of mistakes and sin have broken.

We pray with you that God will heal hearts and bring honesty where there has been deception, and that every lie of Satan around your family would be rebuked in the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture teaches us to honor father and mother as a commandment of God, and even when a father has died that honor continues as we speak truthfully, act justly, and refuse to use family ties for selfish gain or control. The fighting over who is in authority after your father's death is a grievous temptation, but the Lord calls each of you to humble yourselves rather than to seize control, to serve rather than to rule.

Jesus Himself warned that sin divides even the closest kin, that a household can be set against itself, yet He showed His power precisely by bringing reconciliation where nature is divided. The way forward is not through yelling and insults, which only deepen wounds, but through patient love, truthful speech, and prayer with one accord as the first disciples prayed together in the upper room with one soul. When you forgive each day, saying with Christ forgive them for they do not know what they are doing, you are walking in His way, and God honors that forgiveness even when others do not yet repent.

We pray especially for your mother who is suffering with suicidal thoughts and living in a toxic and negative environment with a sharp tongue. May the Lord protect her, guard her mind, lift that darkness, and surround her and your brother's family with His provision and peace. If she speaks of harming herself, please help her to stay connected to trusted believers and to seek immediate help from a pastor and from qualified care near her, and continue to intercede for her daily. God knows your finances and your needs, and He is able to provide.

We also pray for your own heart, that God would keep you from growing bitter while you wait, and that He would give you wisdom in loving both your family of origin and your spouse with grace and without forcing what only God can change. Continue to do what is right quietly and faithfully, to speak the truth in love, and to look for small opportunities for honest and calm communication rather than shouting.

We ask God to bring true repentance where there has been disobedience and bad behavior, to soften hearts that have been hard, and to restore unity in His time. As it is written, believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household. We claim that promise not as a guarantee that everyone will believe without personal faith, but as confidence that God desires the salvation of your whole family and hears your prayers for them.

May the Lord heal your souls, protect you from the enemy, provide for your needs, and in His mercy bring you together again, if not fully in this life then in perfect fellowship with your father and with our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. We will continue to pray that God grants you endurance through these trials, knowing that He often works through many prayers and many days, like strokes upon a tree, until at last fruit appears for His glory.

We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns and is able to make all things new. Amen.
