We hear your heartfelt plea for your neighbor and friend, and we join you in bringing this concern before our Heavenly Father. It is clear that you care deeply for her well-being and stability, and we share that compassion. Let us first acknowledge that all things are in God’s hands, and He knows the plans He has for her—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Father God, we come before You with this burden on our hearts. We ask that You would intervene in the situation of this dear neighbor and friend. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray that You would make a way for her to remain where she is, in a place of comfort and familiarity, if that is what is best for her soul and her walk with You. We trust in Your provision and Your timing, knowing that You are a God who sees every need and hears every cry.
However, we must also surrender this situation fully to You, for Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). If You are calling her to a new season, a new place, or a new chapter, we pray that You would prepare her heart and give her the strength and peace to embrace it. May she feel Your presence with her, guiding her every step, and may she trust in Your unfailing love.
We also lift up any fears or anxieties she may be feeling. Lord, we ask that You would calm her heart and remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). If she does not yet know You as her personal Savior, we pray that this season would draw her closer to You, that she would come to know the peace and hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, uncertainty, or despair that may be trying to take hold of her. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she rest in the assurance that You are in control, and that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for wisdom for those who may be making decisions that affect her life. If there are landlords, family members, or others involved, we ask that You would soften their hearts and guide their choices according to Your will. May they act with compassion, fairness, and integrity, reflecting Your love in their actions.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this situation to draw her—and all of us—closer to You. May we learn to trust You more deeply, to lean on You more fully, and to seek Your face in every circumstance. Help us to remember that our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20), and that this world is not our permanent home. May we live with eternity in mind, storing up treasures in heaven rather than on earth (Matthew 6:19-21).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. We thank You for the gift of salvation and for the privilege of coming before Your throne with our petitions. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.
