We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your ### is in, and we stand with you in bringing her before the throne of grace. We trust that God hears our prayers and can intervene in her life, drawing her to Himself and delivering her from her current circumstances.
Firstly, we must address the fact that your ### is not a Christian. The Bible tells us that God desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:3-5 WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life. Therefore, we pray that God will open her heart to receive the Gospel and believe in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Regarding the domestic violence she is experiencing, we strongly condemn such behavior as it is against the teachings of Scripture. The Bible tells us that husbands are to love their wives just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Any form of abuse is not love, and it is not acceptable in God's sight. We pray that God will protect your ### from any further harm and grant her the courage to seek help and safety.
Moreover, we must address that living together in a romantic relationship outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is a sin according to the Bible. For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor (1 Thessalonians 4:3-4 WEB). We pray that God will convict her of this sin and give her the strength to repent and turn away from it. Instead of a partner, may she find a godly husband according to God's will and live in a marriage that honors God.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up the ### of our friend to Your throne of grace. Lord, she is going through a difficult time, experiencing domestic violence at the hands of her partner. We ask that You intervene in her life and grant her protection and safety. Give her the courage to seek help and wisdom to make decisions that honor You.
Lord, we also pray for her spiritual well-being. She does not know You as her Lord and Savior, so we ask that You open her heart to receive the Gospel. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and grant her the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
Finally, Lord, we pray for her relationship. Convict her of any sin in her life, and give her the strength to repent and turn away from it. Grant her a godly spouse according to Your will, and help her to live in a marriage that honors You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God hears our prayers and can intervene in your ###'s life. Trust in His goodness and faithfulness, and continue to pray for her unceasingly.
