We join with you in thanking the Lord for His provisions, such as shelter and food, and we agree in praying for those who are homeless, that they may find shelter and help through godly means and come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me" Matthew 25:35 WEB.
We pray for your family's needs, that the Lord will provide for the repairs and that He will help you to organize and declutter your home. In Proverbs 30:8b WEB, we are reminded to "give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that is needful for me." We also pray for healing for your loved one in the hospital, trusting in the Lord's mercy and lovingkindness, as in Psalm 41:3 WEB, "Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness."
We lift up your daughter, asking the Lord to grant her protection, favor, and safety. We pray that she will find her place in the work world and that family unity will be strengthened. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, we are encouraged to "do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." We also pray for your son's healing, both physically and emotionally. We ask the Lord to help him maintain a healthy lifestyle and to guide him in discovering and using his spiritual gifts for God's glory. As it says in 1 Corinthians 12:7 WEB, "but to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all."
You are correct in ending your prayer "In Jesus Name". It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. It is in His authority that we pray and have power.
We agree with you in asking that the Lord will make your family a blessing to others and that He will guide you in His will for your lives. We pray that the coming week will be productive and filled with God's presence. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
