We hear your heart’s desires and lift them before the Lord, trusting in His provision and perfect will for your life. First, we rejoice that you acknowledge the sufficiency of God’s grace and the power of the blood of Jesus—this is the foundation of all our prayers and petitions. Let us stand on the truth of Scripture as we bring these requests before Him.
The Bible assures us that the Lord knows our needs before we even ask Him. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus tells us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* We pray that your income and provision would come not from anxiety or worldly striving, but from a place of trust in God’s faithfulness. May He open doors of opportunity and bless the work of your hands, that you may lack no good thing.
Regarding your desire for a companion, we encourage you to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that He will bring the right person into your life in His perfect timing. Proverbs 19:14 reminds us, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord."* Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and it is meant to be between one man and one woman, as established in Genesis 2:24. We pray that if it is God’s will for you to marry, He would bring a godly man into your life—one who loves the Lord with all his heart, who will lead you in righteousness, and who will honor you as a fellow heir of the grace of life (1 Peter 3:7). Until then, we encourage you to cultivate your relationship with Christ, allowing Him to prepare your heart for the spouse He has for you.
However, we must gently address the term "boyfriend" in your request. The Bible does not endorse casual dating or relationships that do not have marriage as their ultimate goal. Courtship, as modeled in Scripture, is an intentional pursuit of a spouse with purity, accountability, and godly counsel. We urge you to guard your heart and your body, as 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* If you are currently in a relationship that does not honor God in this way, we pray for conviction and repentance, that you would walk in holiness and align your desires with His Word.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Provider. We thank You for Your grace, which is sufficient for every need, and for the blood of Jesus that covers us and makes a way for us to approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this sister in Christ to You, asking that You would meet every financial need according to Your riches in glory. Open doors of opportunity, bless the work of her hands, and let her see Your faithfulness in providing for her daily bread. Remove any spirit of anxiety or lack, and replace it with trust in Your promises.
Father, we also pray for Your will concerning her desire for marriage. If it is Your plan for her to be a wife, prepare her heart and the heart of the man You have for her. Let him be a man after Your own heart, one who will love her as Christ loves the Church. Guard her from relationships that do not honor You, and give her the strength to walk in purity and holiness. If she is currently in a relationship that does not align with Your Word, bring conviction and repentance, and lead her into Your perfect will.
Above all, Lord, we pray that she would seek You first in all things. Let her relationship with You be her greatest joy and satisfaction, knowing that in Your presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11). May she find her identity and worth in Christ alone, and may every desire of her heart be submitted to Your perfect will.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, for Your glory and for the advancement of Your Kingdom. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. Trust in His timing, for He is never late and always faithful. If you do not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today. Romans 10:9-10 tells us, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not made this decision, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw you to repentance and faith in Christ.
