Disciple of Prayer
recently, I was involved in a car accident. I was hit pretty hard and it was pretty bad but I didn’t die. I just have an eyebrow that’s a little bit lower because it doesn’t move right now and there’s a scar that goes pretty big from the top of my eye all the way down to my eye and I’m just needing prayers to see a doctor soon. I was towed by the urgent care that they can’t refer me because they need my insurance to have a primary care refer me. I know the urgent care can refer you to a specialist, but they are saying not with my insurance. I haven’t seen a primary care in a while and I’ve called a lot of doctors in town and a lot of them aren’t available till later this year or next year. I don’t know how I’m gonna get a doctor like this month. I was supposed to get my face fixed before my birthday because I had a few months that I was calling doctors, but that didn’t happen. So now I’m still a little sad but I really am trying to be patient and be understanding that these things happen but I really do wanna get my eyebrow fixed so that it moves again because it feels weird when it doesn’t move and I can’t express myself properly with my face and it’s just drooping down so it looks lower than the other one. I wish I didn’t have a scar either, but I don’t think my insurance can cover the scar. So I might have just have to let that one go. And when this accident happened, it was very traumatic and I was by myself. I was by myself and wasn’t close to home so I didn’t have any support during that time in the hospital too. I’ve just been going through a lot of things and it would just be really nice if I could just get this fixed and just get a doctor very very soon because I put tape on it and scar gel every day every night every morning and it’s been almost 4 months and it’s on my face and I don’t want it there. I don’t want it like this. Please just pray for my healing as my nerve damage to come back and the doctors to surgically fix it or somehow fix the not so symmetrical eyebrow that isn’t moving. Second thing I need prayer for is provision. I really just want to have my own place again or at least my own room and to be able to have an income. I haven’t worked in over a year a full-time job due to hardships and other things that I don’t wanna mention. Please just help me to know exactly what would be the best thing right now because I have been feeling often that I’m just not where I need to be and I’m just lost and bunch of brain fog and just trying to comfort myself with pleasures like food and sleep, but it’s not really living as much. I just wanted to get back into having a place a job and my face repaired. Blessings for reading this and your prayers!

We are truly sorry to hear about the car accident you were involved in and the challenges you've been facing with your health and living situation. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the most difficult times. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." Even when you felt alone after the accident, God was there with you.

We are concerned about your immediate need to see a doctor for your injuries and that your insurance is causing delays. We pray that God will open doors and help you seek the medical treatment you need. We ask God for this in Jesus' name, as we are asked to seek God for healing in James 5:14-15: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

We pray for your complete healing, including the nerve damage and the functionality of your eyebrow. We ask God to guide the hands of the doctors who will treat you. We also pray for provision.

We would like to remind you to seek God's will in all things, including your job search. We encourage you to Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

When praying for provision it is important to remember the word of God in Philippians 4:19: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Lastly, we want to address that your request did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God as the Bible says in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Only through faith in Jesus Christ we can have salvation and be saved. We encourage you to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our dear friend who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, the accident has been traumatic, and the recovery has been slow and challenging. We ask You to guide them to the right doctors and open the doors for the medical treatment they need. We pray for complete healing, that the nerve damage will be restored, and the eyebrow will function normally again.

Father, we also pray for provision. Guide them to the right job, a place to call home, and grant them a clear mind and spirit. Help them to overcome the brain fog and find comfort in You, not in temporary pleasures.

In all things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. We trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen."

We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, trust in God's timing, and keep seeking His will.

We're right here with you, friend. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for you. We know it's been a tough road since the accident, and we're sorry you've had to face these challenges alone.

First off, we want to remind you that God sees you and He's right there with you, just as He promised in His word, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Even in the loneliest moments, He's been by your side.

We've been praying for your healing, just like our sister in Christ mentioned earlier. We ask God to touch your nerve damage, to restore your eyebrow's functionality, and to guide the doctors who will treat you. We also pray for provision, that God would open doors for you to find a place to call home and an income to support yourself.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God's plan for your life. He sees your struggles, and He's working everything together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep seeking His will, and remember that His timing is perfect (Ecclesiastes 3:11).

We're also praying for peace and comfort to fill your heart. We ask God to help you find joy in Him, even amidst the challenges you're facing. May His love and presence be your source of strength and hope.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear friend who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask You to be close to them, to comfort them, and to guide them to the right doctors. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep seeking God's face. You're not alone, and we're here for you, praying with you every step of the way.

Thanks so much for your prayers. It is good to know that you believe in healing and you can be strong when I've been weak. Please do keep me in prayer. I have been going through a lot but the healing was actually fast and isn't that challenging it was just a sudden change to my body that I didn't like it and prayed too much about it and spent a lot of time, healing, taking pictures, going to doctors and its too much, I want it to be over already so I can focus on my life. Thank God it has been fast healing. Just nerve wise it still isn't moving. Doctors said it wasn't supposed to be like this.

wow. Thank you so much for your prayers and response to my needy request in prayer. It really is a good thing to have others lifting you up and strengthening you in prayer. When you are strong and I’ve been weak I just thank you that I’m able to request prayer knowing that I can trust the body of Christ to help and lift me up. I’ve been going through a lot so just you encouraging me and sharing kind and powerful words and your faith in God and his healing power. It means a lot. Thank you so much and God bless you for your quick response and caring for what’s going on in my life. So again it just means a lot to me because I’ve been alone. Your response is huge, so thank you very much for your time and responding and sharing kind words of encouragement and lifting me up this time when I really really do need others. I would like to kindly ask if you are able to, do keep me in your prayers. Thanks so much.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
