We are glad to join you in prayer and to help guide you in accordance with God's will. It is commendable that you acknowledge your need to spend more time in God's Word, and prayer for godly spouse.
Let's first address the importance of reading God's Word. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 WEB, All Scripture is God-breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
As you desire to get into God's Word more, we pray that the Holy Spirit will stir up a hunger and thirst for righteousness within you. May the Word of God come alive in your spirit, and may you find joy and delight in studying the Scriptures. Remember, Jesus said in Matthew 4:4 WEB, But he answered, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
Regarding the serious issues you are facing, we pray that you will cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.
In 1 Peter 5:7 it says, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Now, concerning your prayer for a godly spouse, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and to seek His will for your life. In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, it says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight.
We pray that God will guide your steps and bring you together with a fellow believer who loves the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. We pray that your future spouse will be a blessing to you and that your marriage will glorify God and be a testament to His love and faithfulness. We are encouraged that this prayer was requested in the name of Jesus. Remember the only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ. It is by believing in Jesus' death, burial and resurrection that we are saved and have access to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We ask that You would ignite a fire within them, a passion for Your Word and a deep desire to know You more. Help them to make time to study the Scriptures and to hide Your Word in their heart.
We also bring before You the serious issues they are facing. We pray for Your divine intervention, wisdom, and guidance. May they feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and may they trust in Your faithfulness.
Lastly, Father, we pray for a godly spouse for our sibling in Christ. We ask that You would prepare both of them for this future union, and that Your timing and will would be paramount in their lives. May the person You will bring them be godly and love You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
