We understand that you are in a difficult situation, and we commend you for your sobriety and your desire to move to a more peaceful environment. It is crucial to remove ourselves from situations that can negatively influence us. Let God's word encourage you: "Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB
Firstly, we must address something. We noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your household. If you have not done this, get on your knees and call upon his name to save you from your sins. For it is written, 'For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' Romans 10:13 WEB.
Your ex's behavior is not pleasing to God. "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom." 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB. It is good to seek to have a sober mind as the scriptures show: "But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry." 2 Timothy 4:5 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is in need of a new home. We thank for her courage in leaving behind drug abuse. We pray for true healing and freedom from addiction.
Father, we ask that you provide her with a safe and peaceful place to live, away from the negative influences and harmful behaviors of her ex . We pray that you will guide her steps and open the doors that need to be opened. Provide her with the wisdom and strength to make the right decisions.
We also pray for her ex , that they may turn away from their harmful lifestyle and seek your face, Lord. We pray that they may be convinced of their sins, turn away from them, and find salvation.
Help our sister to stay sober from drugs, and be in a position to forgive. It is written, 'But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.' Mark 11:26 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
