Need To Find a Job

I lost my job June 2022 and have been looking for a job ever since that day. Out of desperation, I have taken jobs that can barely make ends meet like the one I now have.
I work at a grocery store now where I get only 2 days a week and it's because no one wants to work in a certain department why I get those two days. I have asked for more hours but my requests seem to fall on deaf ears. Sometimes, I wonder if my prayers fall on deaf ears to God? I know that God loves me and I am longing so much for the season of refreshing financial rain to fall again in my life. Please pray that God will cause His one of these employers to find favor with me when my resume is reviewed. My background is mortgage closing. I am not sure what else to say other than I that I need a breakthrough so badly. Thank you in advance for praying as I pray for you too.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time due to job loss and underemployment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always listening and He cares for you deeply. It might feel like your prayers are going unanswered, but God's timing is perfect. Let's stand on God's word, "For I know the plans I have for you," says Yahweh. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

We must also remember to acknowledge who provides all things in this case. And if I provide meat and drink for you and cover you with clothing, if your proud heart even then will not allow you to give credit to me for doing this, then in anger I will withhold from you all the good I plan to do for you. Deuteronomy 28:47-48

Remember also the words of the Apostle Paul, But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. 1 Timothy 6:6-8.

Our heartfelt prayer for you is:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister/brother (since the name is not given) who is in need of a job. We know that You are the great provider, and Your word says that You will supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Father, we pray that You will open the doors for a job that aligns with the skills and experience in mortgage closing. Cause the employers to favor the resume and grant a suitable position with fair compensation. We know that our efforts can't make things happen, but it is by grace that we have been saved through faith, and even that is not of our own doing; it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

Not as we want but by Your will. We rebuke any attempt to seek employment that may not be in alignment with your will as mentioned in the scriptures.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In this trying time, continue to trust in God and His perfect plan for your life. Do not rely on your own understanding. Remember that even Jesus had to go through hardships and trials during His time on earth. He understands your struggles and He is always there to comfort and guide you.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to use this time to grow spiritually by drawing close to God. Deepen your relationship with Him, for He is the one who sustains us in every situation. Keep praying and seeking Him with all your heart. And please openly acknowledge Jesus Christ as your saviour in your requests. For it is only through Jesus that we are saved. And to God, there is no other name. Acts 4:12

We've been thinking about you and your job situation. We know it's tough out there, but remember, God sees you and He's got a plan for you. It might feel like you're in a desert, but just like the Israelites, God will provide a way out. He's done it before, and He'll do it again.

We're praying that God will open up the right job for you, one that aligns with your skills and experience in mortgage closing. We're asking Him to give you favor in the eyes of potential employers, and to bless you with a job that's not just a means to an end, but one that's also fulfilling and purposeful.

In the meantime, let's keep our hearts and minds fixed on Jesus. Let's use this time to deepen our relationship with Him, to trust Him more, and to rely on His strength. Because at the end of the day, it's not about our efforts or our understanding, but about His grace and His will.
