We rejoice with you in the blessings you’ve already received through prayer, and we stand with you now in this season of trial, knowing that our God is faithful and just. The oppression you are facing—whether through neglectful maintenance, the cold, or the recurring attacks on your living conditions—is not of the Lord but a scheme of the enemy to wear you down. Yet we know that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). This is not just a battle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and we must stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world.
It is troubling to hear how you have shown kindness—even baking sweets for those who have ignored your pleas—yet the oppression persists. This reveals the hardness of hearts involved, but it also reminds us that our struggle is not against people but against the powers of darkness that blind them. We must pray not only for the repairs to be made swiftly but for the hearts of those in authority over your housing to be convicted and turned toward justice. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Let us pray that Yahweh would turn their hearts to act righteously and urgently on your behalf.
As for your children, we lift them up to the Lord, declaring that this *is* their year of Jubilee—a time of restoration, freedom, and prosperity in Christ. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they *"might have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10, WEB). We rebuke every generational curse, every spiritual stronghold, and every plan of the enemy to hinder their blessing. *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* Let this be their portion, in Jesus’ name!
We also want to encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when it feels like the breakthrough is delayed. Your persistence in prayer and kindness, even in the face of injustice, is a testament to your character in Christ. But remember, while we are called to love our enemies and do good to those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), we are *not* called to passively accept oppression. There is a time to take bold, practical steps—whether that means escalating complaints to higher authorities, seeking legal aid, or even relocating if the Lord leads. Wisdom and discernment are key, and we pray that Yahweh would guide you clearly in what actions to take next.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up our sister and her children to You, asking that You break every chain of oppression that has sought to bind them. You are the God of Jubilee, the One who proclaims freedom for the captives and restoration for the broken. We declare that this *is* their season of breakthrough—no more delay, no more denial, no more suffering in silence.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of oppression that has followed her from home to home. We command it to be broken in the name of Jesus. Every assignment of the enemy to keep her and her children in lack, in cold, in instability—we cancel it now by the blood of Jesus. Let the maintenance team be compelled by Your Spirit to act with urgency and integrity. Expose every lie, every delay tactic, and every hidden motive. Let justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).
Lord, we pray for her children—cover them with Your blood, protect their minds, bodies, and spirits. Let this be the year they walk in the fullness of their destiny, free from every curse, free from every hindrance. Open doors of opportunity, provision, and favor that no man can shut. Let them prosper in every area of their lives—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. May they know You as their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace.
Father, we also ask that You give our sister wisdom. Show her the next steps to take—whether it’s pressing legally, finding alternative housing, or standing firm where she is. Let her hear Your voice clearly and act in obedience. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are fighting for her, even when she cannot see it.
We thank You, Father, that You are moving on her behalf. We declare that the mold will be removed, the heat will be restored, and the holes will be repaired. We speak life, warmth, and safety over her home. And we thank You that her children will rise up and call her blessed, for You are turning her mourning into dancing, her despair into joy.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray—*the name above every name, the name at which every knee must bow*. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen.
Stand firm, sister. The Lord has heard your cries, and He is moving. Do not lose heart. *"Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking in obedience. Your Jubilee is coming!
Thank you so much again for your beautiful prayers! I was so very encouraged and felt God's perfect presence in your prayers, as they were very confirming! I had prayed the exact same Words over our lives and situation at dinner that you shared in the first paragraph praise God!
Your prayers and prayers warriors on this website are powerful as last year around this time we faced homelessness and I reached out. You all prayed for us. We did become homeless for a time and traveled, sleeping in car. I began to break and the Lord intervened and a good Samaritan let us stay in an empty apartment until I found our own. It took about ten days and we've been very blessed here praise Jesus!
Yet, there is a curse and oppression I have been dealing with. God revealed to me recently. I have fasted, prayed, bound it by the blood have found some relief yet the oppression persists and problems remain.
I have turned to the Word and God has revealed to me to heal, joy, reward, Jubilee and blessings. So I am doing my best to remain righteous (not bitter, hurt and unforgiving). Please pray I can fast more as I really believe there is a Huge Light of Amazing Blessings Very Near. How, when and what I do I have no clue. God has only revealed to be joyful, fasting and righteous and He will intervene. I believe Him so for that I am grateful, praise God!
I greatly appreciate All of your prayers. If possible please keep us in your prayers this season as I really need the prayer backing to be released from this and my children once and for all, praise God and God be willing in Jesus's name and by His most precious blood!
As far as other means or methods to deal with this I don't have a clue. I just know I want to break this oppression once and for all, as it's affected several areas of my life and I want full victory by Jesus! I am and always pray for you all each day. I'm not the greatest anything prayer included but I do ask God to put the whole body of Christ in His armor daily and cover our world in His most precious blood. The Blood of Jesus is my most precious beloved blessing in this life, praise God. So I that there is perfect beauty, sacrifice and amazing saving grace!
