My fiance and I have been having some emotional ups and downs lately over the past 2 or 3 months. We've been together for 6 and half years now; hopefully getting married in April. I've never been the jealous type until recently. I feel the devil is trying to cause problems by bringing temptation, doubt, and insecurities into our relationship. We have openly discussed my insecurities about one of his coworkers, and he reassures me he loves only me and sees the rest of his life with me. I firmly believe that he would end things with me before he would physically cheat, but sometimes I feel like he is not being completely open with me. Emotional cheating is worse than physical to me. We have started praying together every night and reading the bible together. These things give me hope that we are at least headed in the right direction, and I try to show him how much love him and trust him everyday. We pray constantly for strength, wisdom, and guidance to overcome these issues and push the evil that is trying to destroy what has been an amazing relationship. The healing of our hearts and minds so that we can truly be whole once again is so very important right now to overcome this trial in our lives. God is love and has the ability to heal.
