Need Scripture

I posted earlier this morning that I am quitting smoking and what better way to fight the addiction than with scripture. I had a friend that had cancer and told us " When the devil showed me in a coffin I quoted the scripture" Really encouraged me to try. So please leave me some scripture about addiction, or battle, or confidence or whatever. Here or on my profile... love you all and thank you

I quit 2 months ago cold turkey ...thank God I only had 3 times where I EVEN thought for a moment about wanting one and they quickly disappeared....all I did was think how unhealthy it really was...and I had no place for that in my life...you deserve GOOD HEALTH! God bless you and strengthen you - may His angels surround you. May your desire to smoke be broken quickly. Amen.

YOU CAN DO THIS - God will see you through...things will smell/taste so much better...we put sooooo many toxins in our bodies - we deserve better than that! Praying for you and proud for you stopping! You control it - it does not control you...remember that when the urge hits...get busy doing something good for you or someone else to get your mind off of it.

Lord bless her efforts and bind this spirit of addiction to smoking and lift her up in obedience to Your holy word...let her be a living sacrifice which is her reasonable service cover her with favor and mercy let grace speak to her heart and lead her to the fullness of truth in You..in Jesus name...let her be an example of Your love all the days of her life in Jesus name
