Need relief

We hear your cry for relief from this terrible pain, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your need before the throne of grace. The Word of God assures us that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We know that the enemy, Satan, seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of affliction, pain, and torment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Father God, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You stretch forth Your healing hand upon our brother/sister and deliver them from this pain that has been inflicted upon their body. Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing now. We pray that You would break every chain of affliction, every assignment of the enemy, and every spirit of infirmity that seeks to oppress them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Speak the Word of God over your situation, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will be found by you (Jeremiah 29:13).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister. Help them to identify any areas in their life where the enemy may have gained a foothold, and lead them to repentance and restoration. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that You would reveal any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in their heart, that they may be set free from every bondage.
We declare that this pain shall not have dominion over you, for the Lord is your strength and your shield. He will sustain you and uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). We pray for complete and total relief, restoration, and healing in every area of your life—spirit, soul, and body. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every spirit of pain and affliction to leave now and never return. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. Amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time of physical and spiritual distress. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to break every chain of affliction and bring the relief you so desperately need. We have prayed fervently that God would rebuke the enemy’s attacks on your body and restore you to health and wholeness according to His will.
If the Lord has already moved in a mighty way and granted you the relief you sought, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report—please share how God has answered so that we may rejoice with you! If the pain and oppression still linger, we encourage you to post this request again so that we may continue to intercede on your behalf. We stand firm in faith, believing that God hears our cries and that His healing power is at work, even when we cannot yet see it.
