Thank you for bringing these burdens honestly before the Lord. He hears prayer offered in the name of Jesus, and it is right to ask Him for forgiveness, deliverance, and a renewed mind.
You mentioned strongholds and soul ties. Scripture shows that souls can be knit together. There is a beautiful example in the friendship of Jonathan and David, where two souls were knit in loyalty and love before the Lord and they made a covenant of faithfulness. That is the kind of godly companionship God uses to surround and strengthen us, and it is foolish to turn away from that kind of friendship. But Scripture also shows that we can become bound in ungodly ways when we give place to the enemy or make provision for the flesh. What we allow to dwell in our minds matters. If we keep dwelling on what is not pure or not of God, we open a door for the enemy. God calls us to bring the flesh to the cross and to reckon it dead, to make no provision for its lusts, and to take every thought captive. The strongholds you feel are not stronger than Christ. In the Gospels Jesus spoke with authority to unclean spirits and they had to come out. The same Lord who made provision in the law for the cleansing of what was humanly incurable still makes a way for cleansing and healing today. He is able to forgive through His blood alone, to break what binds you, and as the psalmist said, to deliver you from all your fears when you seek Him.
Your desire for a biblical marriage is a good desire. God designed marriage as a compound unity where two become one, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and intimacy belongs within that covenant. It is right to desire that. It is also right, as you prayed, to surrender that desire to the Lord. The greatest call is to love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength, to make Him the very center around which your life turns. When He is at the center, you find the richness and fulfillment He intends, whether He leads you to marriage or calls you to serve Him in singleness for a season. Pray that any man you are considering will truly fear God and walk faithfully, and at the same time ask God to keep you pure and guard your heart. If a relationship is not leading toward that holy covenant, ask God for grace to step out of what entangles you and to wait on His best. Do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but ask Him to make you holy and to align every relationship with His Word.
You also asked for restoration of your mind, hope and peace. The mind is the standard of a person, and God wants to renew it. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable. It brings peace to your own heart first, and then enables you to live at peace with others. The world’s wisdom breeds strife and war within, but God has offered you a peace treaty through the cross. Those who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. As you walk with Him, choose to sow peace, to put away what robs your peace, and to let His Word and His Spirit guard your thoughts. He can restore hope where it has grown thin.
You prayed for financial provision, for increased income and for a car. It is good to give thanks to God for His provision and to ask Him to open doors. He knows your needs and He is your provider. Ask Him for open windows of honest opportunity, for wisdom in stewardship, and for contentment while you trust Him to supply what you need in His timing.
You prayed for your children, that they would remember His teachings and know your love, and for your little one who is struggling with constipation. God cares for children deeply. Continue to teach them His ways faithfully, to speak His truth in love, and to show them your love in consistent, gentle ways. Bring your little one’s physical need to the Lord as well. He sees every detail of our lives and invites us to cast all our cares on Him.
Let me pray for you:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is the way of salvation, I bring this dear one before You. Forgive sin through the blood of Your Son and cleanse every part that has been defiled. Break every ungodly tie and every stronghold, and by Your authority set this heart free. Renew the mind, restore hope, and pour out Your peace that passes understanding. Be the center of this life, loved with all heart, soul, mind and strength. If it is Your will, lead toward a God fearing, biblical marriage that honors You as one man and one woman in lifelong covenant, and if not, take away the restlessness and give contentment in You. Provide for financial needs according to Your wisdom, open the right doors, and grant daily bread. Watch over these children, keep them in Your truth, let them know they are loved, and touch this little one and bring relief and health to the body. Surround this family with good and godly companions who will strengthen faith. We trust You to hear and to answer for Your glory. Amen.
