Need Prayers of Protection etc ,

Disciple of Prayer
Hey there I’m back, Prayers against what I think is called nepotism? I’m trying real hard to finally have my dream career to be real, I’m simply not ready to even think to quit as I’m finally seeing the progress I need, totally not in the condition to do 2 things at once, meaning work at a place like ### and have my streaming content career and music to blow up with success. What prayers is there to keep my parents distracted from hounding me with this idea? As nothing does happen meaning like punishment, it’s just annoying and hurts my morale, it gets really OCD repeatedly at times, it’s like Groundhog Day effect here, I need prayer requests, that fall in the categories of uplifting my career and financial status. I want to be able to run my hobbies as a job and business. What are some prayer templates I can use? Basically, I insert my own phrases if I, etc. I've been trying to figure out the right prayer for two things. I've been having trouble staying on the ball with daily prayers. New routines are hard. I've been trying to do that prayer where you officially accept God and Jesus in your heart and life. Also, I am kind of on a hot seat with my living conditions. I've been trying so hard to get my dreams off the ground and have it be the way I can make income and be able to live by myself. I do several things on YouTube. My music and video gaming content, which is heavily sports, I see so many people of my generation pull this off. I don't care about being ultra-rich. I want it to be a fruitful at-home business. A lot of people my generation and even younger tend to pull this off. I want God to help get into this party, I guess you can say. I have the vessels created to accept sales and money from my ideas. I need those prayers to have God get behind me. I do not want to live at home and be basically treated as a burden. I am going to go more into depth later with this. I need to put in the right direction. THANK YOU GOD BLESS.

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight". . .

🙏 Col 1:9-12: "We keep asking to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father". ... I pray in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We understand your heart’s cry for protection, direction, and breakthrough in your career and living situation. It’s clear you’re working hard to align your passions with God’s purpose for your life, and we commend your determination to pursue your dreams in a way that honors Him. However, we must first address something foundational: your prayers and requests must be made in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we receive salvation, grace, and the power to overcome life’s challenges. As Scripture declares:

*"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* — **Acts 4:12 (WEB)**

*"Most certainly, I tell you, he who doesn’t enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, is a thief and a robber. But he who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. ... Jesus therefore said to them again, 'Most certainly, I tell you, I am the sheep’s door. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep didn’t listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out, and will find pasture.'"*— **John 10:1-2, 7-9 (WEB)**

If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart. This is the first and most critical step in seeing God’s hand move powerfully in your life. Without this relationship, your prayers may feel empty or unanswered because they lack the authority and connection that comes through Christ alone.

*"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* — **Romans 10:9-10 (WEB)**

Now, let’s address the specific areas of your request with biblical wisdom and prayer.

You mentioned struggling with what you believe is nepotism—favoritism that may be hindering your progress. While we don’t know the specifics of your situation, Scripture reminds us that our trust must be in the Lord, not in man’s approval or unfair systems. God is the one who promotes and opens doors no man can shut.

*"A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps."* — **Proverbs 16:9 (WEB)**

*"Don’t be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. ... Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling."* — **Psalm 91:5-7, 9-10 (WEB)**

As for your parents’ persistent pressure, we encourage you to honor them while also setting godly boundaries. The fifth commandment calls us to honor our father and mother, but this does not mean we must submit to control or manipulation, especially if it’s causing anxiety or distracting you from the path God has for you. Pray for wisdom in how to respond to them with love and respect, while also standing firm in the direction God is leading you.

*"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ‘Honor your father and mother,’ which is the first commandment with a promise: ‘that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.’"* — **Ephesians 6:1-3 (WEB)**

*"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."* — **Romans 12:18 (WEB)**

We also notice your desire to turn your hobbies—music, gaming, and content creation—into a sustainable career. This is not wrong in itself, but we must caution you to examine your motivations. Are you seeking success to glorify God and serve others, or is your focus primarily on independence, comfort, or validation? God calls us to work with excellence and to steward our talents for His kingdom, not merely for personal gain.

*"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* — **Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB)**

*"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* — **Matthew 6:33 (WEB)**

Your struggle with consistency in prayer is something many believers face, especially when building new routines. Prayer is not about perfection but about persistence and relationship with God. Jesus taught His disciples to pray with faith, humility, and dependence on the Father. Start small if needed—even five minutes a day—but make it a priority. Use Scripture to guide your prayers, and remember that God hears even the simplest, most heartfelt cries.

*"Pray without ceasing."* — **1 Thessalonians 5:17 (WEB)**

*"But when you pray, go into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."* — **Matthew 6:6 (WEB)**

Regarding your living situation, we understand your desire for independence and to no longer feel like a burden. However, we encourage you to trust in God’s timing. He knows your needs and will provide in His way and time. Avoid the temptation to rush ahead of Him or to pursue success at any cost. Instead, seek His will above all else, and He will direct your steps.

*"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* — **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**

Finally, we want to address the idea of "getting God behind you" as if He were a means to your success. God is not a genie or a cosmic vending machine; He is the sovereign Lord who calls us to align our desires with His will. Instead of asking God to bless your plans, ask Him to reveal His plans for you. Surrender your dreams to Him and trust that His way is perfect, even if it looks different from what you’ve imagined.

*"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your thoughts will be established."* — **Proverbs 16:3 (WEB)**

*"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* — **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)**

Now, let us pray together for you in Jesus’ mighty name:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, asking that You draw them into a deeper, saving relationship with Your Son, Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see Jesus as their Lord and Savior, the only name by which we can be saved and the only way to the Father. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and grant them the assurance of eternal life in Christ.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over their career and creative endeavors. Shield them from nepotism, favoritism, and any unjust obstacles that the enemy may place in their path. You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. If there are doors that need to be opened, open them, Lord. If there are doors that need to be closed, shut them firmly. Give them divine wisdom to navigate their work and relationships, especially with their parents. Help them to honor their mother and father while also setting godly boundaries that allow them to focus on the path You’ve called them to.

Father, we pray for their consistency in prayer and their walk with You. Forgive them for any times they’ve neglected to seek Your face or to pray in Jesus’ name. Teach them to come boldly before Your throne of grace, knowing that You hear and answer the prayers of Your children. Help them to establish a routine of prayer and Bible study that strengthens their faith and aligns their heart with Yours.

Lord, we ask for Your provision in their living situation. You know their desire for independence and the burden they feel. We pray that You would provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. If it is Your will for them to move out and live on their own, prepare the way, Lord. Give them favor in their work and creativity, that their hobbies may indeed become a fruitful business that glorifies You. But above all, let their heart’s desire be to seek Your kingdom first, trusting that You will add all these things to them.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be attacking their mind. Replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Break the cycle of repetitive, OCD-like pressure from their parents, and give them the grace to respond with patience and love. Let them rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Guide.

Finally, Lord, we pray that their dreams would align with Your purposes. If there are areas in their life that do not honor You—whether in their content, their motivations, or their relationships—convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. May their music, gaming, and creative work be a light in the darkness, pointing others to You.

We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Let Your will be done in their life, and let Your name be glorified through their story. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on these Scriptures and to continue seeking God’s face in all things. Remember that His ways are higher than ours, and His plans for you are good. Stay faithful in prayer, even when it feels difficult, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. If you haven’t already, we urge you to confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior today. There is no greater decision you can make, and it is the foundation for every other blessing in your life.

May God richly bless you as you seek Him with all your heart. Stay encouraged, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

Dear friend,

We're here praying with you and for you. We understand the weight of the pressures you're feeling, and we want you to know that you're not alone.

First, we want to encourage you to keep pursuing your dreams with passion and determination. It's amazing to see someone so dedicated to turning their hobbies into a career. Remember, God has given you unique talents and interests, and He wants you to use them for His glory.

But we also want to remind you that God is in control. He sees your struggles, and He cares about the details of your life. Trust that He has a plan for you, and that His ways are always better than our own. Instead of trying to get God "behind you," focus on aligning your will with His. Surrender your dreams to Him, and ask Him to reveal His plans for you.

We also want to pray for wisdom and discernment as you navigate your relationships, especially with your parents. It's important to honor them, but it's also okay to set boundaries. Seek God's guidance in this area, and trust that He will give you the strength to respond with love and respect.

And finally, we want to encourage you to keep praying. We know it can be tough to stay consistent, but remember that God hears even the simplest, most heartfelt cries. Start small if you need to, but make it a priority to spend time with God each day.

Here's a prayer for you:

"Dear Lord, we lift this precious soul to you. Thank you for the talents and interests you've given them. Help them to use these gifts for your glory, and to trust in your perfect plan for their life. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate their relationships, and help them to honor their parents while also setting healthy boundaries. Lord, we ask that you would provide for their every need, according to your riches in glory. Help them to seek your kingdom first, and trust that you will add all these things to them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep pursuing your dreams. God is with you, every step of the way.

With love and prayers,

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
