Need Prayer

I’m lost disappointed and heartbroken. I have been helping my child pay for college and now I find myself waiting for an ###. I know God is in my corner but I just feel defeated.

🙏 "‘Our Father in Heaven, May Your Name be kept Holy.
Let Your Kingdom come. Let Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever. Amen.’" Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We hear the deep ache in your heart—the weight of sacrifice, the sting of disappointment, and the exhaustion of waiting in what feels like an endless season of uncertainty. You have poured yourself out for your child, acting in love and faithfulness, only to now face your own trial of waiting and lack. It is understandable to feel lost when the path forward seems obscured by hardship, but we want to gently remind you that even in this valley, God has not abandoned you. In fact, He is closer than you may realize, gathering your tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and refining your faith like gold in the fire (1 Peter 1:6-7).

The enemy would love for you to believe this setback is your defeat, but we declare over you the truth of Scripture: *"We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed"* (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). This is not the end of your story. God is your Provider (Jehovah-Jireh), and He sees your need before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). The delay you’re experiencing is not denial—it is divine preparation. Trust that He is working behind the scenes, aligning circumstances in ways you cannot yet see. Remember how He fed Elijah by the brook during famine (1 Kings 17:4-6) and provided manna in the wilderness (Exodus 16:4). If He did it then, He will do it now. Your obedience in stewarding your resources for your child’s education has not gone unnoticed by Heaven. *"God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them"* (Hebrews 6:10).

Yet we must also ask: Where is your hope anchored in this storm? You mentioned knowing God is in your corner, but we sense a flicker of doubt creeping in—perhaps even a hint of resentment or fear. It is vital to guard your heart against bitterness, for it is a root that grows quickly in the soil of disappointment (Hebrews 12:15). Instead, let this season drive you deeper into dependence on Him. *"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7). This is not a passive waiting but an active surrender, where you lay your burdens at His feet daily and choose to worship even before the breakthrough comes.

As for your child, continue to cover them in prayer. You have sown seeds of love and sacrifice into their life, and God will honor that. But remember, your worth is not tied to their success or your ability to provide. Your identity is in Christ alone—beloved, chosen, and redeemed (Ephesians 1:4-5). If financial strain has left you feeling shame or failure, reject that lie. *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing"* (Psalm 23:1). Your value is not in your bank account but in the blood of Jesus.

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our sibling in Christ who is weary, heartbroken, and feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders. Lord, You see the sleepless nights, the silent tears, and the fear of the unknown. We ask You to wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and remind them that You are their Refuge and Strength (Psalm 46:1). Father, provide for their financial need in a way that leaves no doubt it came from Your hand. Open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and let favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12). Restore their hope and renew their trust in Your timing.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of defeat trying to take root in their heart. By the authority of Jesus’ name, we break every chain of anxiety, fear, and discouragement. Fill them instead with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10). Help them to fix their eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and not on the storm around them.

We also pray for their child, that they would walk in wisdom and gratitude for the sacrifices made on their behalf. May this season draw them closer to You as well, Lord.

Father, we thank You that this trial is not in vain. You are producing in them a weight of glory beyond comparison (2 Corinthians 4:17). Strengthen their hands for the battle, and let them rise from this valley with a testimony of Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to meditate on Isaiah 40:31: *"Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."* Keep pressing in. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Your breakthrough is coming.

We're right there with you, dear friend. We feel your pain, your disappointment, and your weariness. It's like you've been running a marathon, carrying a heavy backpack, and now you find yourself in a thick fog, unsure of the path ahead. But remember, even the darkest night will pass, and the sun will rise again. Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way.

We want to remind you of something powerful. In the Bible, it talks about how God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help us in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He's not surprised by your situation, and He's not far off, waiting for you to figure it out on your own. No, He's right there, ready to help, ready to provide.

We know it's hard to see right now, but God is working behind the scenes. He's not punishing you or ignoring you. He's preparing a way, a solution that you might not even be able to imagine yet. Just like He did for the Israelites in the wilderness, providing manna from heaven, or for Elijah by the brook, He's going to provide for you too.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart soft towards God. It's easy to feel resentment or bitterness when we're hurting, but remember, bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It only hurts you. Instead, let this season drive you deeper into dependence on Him. Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

And hey, it's okay to not be okay all the time. It's okay to feel disappointed and heartbroken. God understands. He's not expecting you to be strong all the time. In fact, He's strongest when we're weak (2 Corinthians 12:9).

So, let's keep praying together, shall we? Let's ask God to reveal His path to you, to give you peace and strength, and to provide for your needs. Let's ask Him to help you trust Him, even when you can't see the way ahead. And let's ask Him to bless your child too, to guide them and keep them close to Him.

We're in this together, okay? You're not alone. Let's keep trusting, keep praying, and keep moving forward, one step at a time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to lift you up in this difficult season and thank you for allowing us the honor of bringing your burden before the Lord alongside you. The weight of financial strain—especially when it impacts your child’s future—can feel overwhelming, and we know the enemy loves to twist delays into discouragement. But we serve a God who *sees* your sacrifice, who *knows* your heart for your child, and who is never caught off guard by the needs of His children.

These past days, we’ve continued to pray that the Lord would renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31) and open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We’ve asked Him to guard your heart against the lie that this struggle means He’s distant—because He is *close* to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). And we’ve petitioned Him to provide in ways that leave no doubt it was His hand, whether through unexpected funds, wisdom for next steps, or a peace that surpasses understanding as you wait.

If God has moved in this situation—whether through a check in the mail, a changed circumstance, or even just a fresh sense of His presence—we’d love to rejoice with you! Share your praise so we can give Him glory together. And if the wait continues, we’re still here, ready to stand with you in prayer again. Sometimes the answer comes in stages, and we don’t want you walking this road alone.

Keep clinging to the truth that His timing is perfect, even when the path feels unclear. We’re cheering you on, sister, and trusting that the God who fed Elijah by ravens and multiplied loaves for thousands hasn’t forgotten how to provide for you.

May He flood you with hope as you seek His face, and may you sense His arms holding you—*and your child*—through every unknown. We’re praying for you still. In Jesus’ name.
