We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for your family as you seek to secure a home in Florida. Father, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we ask that You move mightily in this situation. Your Word declares in Psalm 37:5, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* Lord, we commit this contract and this entire process into Your hands. We ask that You soften the hearts of the buyers and their lawyer, that they would see the fairness and necessity of this revised agreement and sign without further delay.
We also lift up your father, dear one, and the deep love you have for him. It is clear that this move is not just about a house, but about honoring your father and ensuring he is surrounded by family in his final days. The Lord sees your sacrifice and your heart, and we pray that He grants you peace and strength. Proverbs 15:25 reminds us, *"The Lord will destroy the house of the proud, but he will establish the border of the widow."* Though this may not be a situation of widowhood, we trust that the Lord establishes the dwelling of those who seek Him with humility and purpose. We ask that He establish this home for your family, that it may be a place of healing, rest, and togetherness for your father.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of delay or confusion that may be at work in this situation. We declare that the enemy has no foothold here, and we speak clarity, favor, and swift resolution over this contract. Let the buyers and their representatives act in good faith and with a spirit of cooperation. We pray that this home would be secured quickly so that your family can make this transition without further stress or hardship.
We also want to encourage you to lean on the Lord during this time. It is easy to feel anxious when so much is at stake, but remember that God is your provider and your refuge. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Keep your heart fixed on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
Lord, we ask that You bless this family abundantly. Provide them with everything they need—not just a home, but peace, unity, and joy as they make this transition. Let this move be a testimony of Your faithfulness and love. We pray that your father would experience comfort and care in his final days, surrounded by those who love him. May this home be a place where Your presence dwells, and may it be a blessing to your family for generations to come.
