We lift up your brother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. The Word of God assures us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore your brother’s health completely, just as He has done in times past.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon our brother. Strengthen his body, renew his kidneys, and cleanse his blood of this affliction. You are the God who sees and knows every cell in his body, and we trust in Your perfect will for his life. If it be Your will, restore him to full health, that he may continue to serve You and bring glory to Your name.
We also pray for wisdom and peace for his doctors and caregivers, that they may be guided by Your hand in every decision. Surround your brother with Your presence, Lord, filling him with hope, comfort, and the assurance that You are with him in this trial. Remind him of Your faithfulness, as it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
If there are areas in his life where sin may have opened a door to this illness, we pray that You would bring conviction and repentance, for You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage you and your family to stand firm in faith, remembering that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Cling to God’s promises, and do not grow weary in prayer. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that abundance of life over your brother today.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your perfect plan, knowing that even in suffering, You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
