We join you in your request for protection and blessings, and we commend you for acknowledging the power of God in your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that our strength and help come from the Lord. As it says in Psalm 121:1-2 WEB, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
We are instructed in Ephesians 6:10-18 to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
We also pray for your family, that the Lord will give your mother and step-dad guidance as they lead your family. We pray that He will bless them with wisdom and understanding, and that He will deliver you all from any form of evil.
In your prayer, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And also in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We encourage you to believe in Jesus Christ if you have not already, for it is only through Him that we can be saved. If you believe in Him, you can come to God in His name.

Clothe them with Your armor, Lord, and help them to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Strengthen them in their faith, and deliver them from all evil. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
