We understand that you're going through a challenging situation with your family and in-laws. We are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you.
Firstly, it's important to remember that God wants us to live in peace and harmony with others, as much as it depends on us. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
However, we must also honor our parents and in-laws, as the Fifth Commandment tells us, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." (Exodus 20:12)
We also pray that you are a Christian believer who believes in the name of Jesus. We only have access to God the Father through Jesus.
"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB
In your situation we pray that God softens your mother-in-law's heart, and that He helps you to live peacefully with your husband and daughter. We pray that God's will be done in your life and that He guides you to act in a way that honors Him, your, your husband and your daughter.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister who is in need of Your peace and guidance. Lord, we ask that You soften her mother-in-law's heart and that You help her to live peacefully with her husband and daughter. We pray that You guide her steps and that You give her the wisdom and strength to act in a way that honors You and her family. We trust that this is only a temporary challenge and we pray that she has the goal of honoring You in her marriage. We ask that you would convict her mother-in-law and guide her steps to a better life with her family.
Lord, we also pray that our sister has a saving faith in Jesus. We thank You for sending Your Son to die for our sins and that through Him we have access to You. We pray that our sister has this belief.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to trust in the Lord and to rest in His promise to work all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Keep praying and seeking God's will in all things, and He will guide you and give you peace.
