We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens to our Heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Let us address each of these areas with the truth of Scripture and the authority we have in Christ Jesus.
First, we pray for your professional certification and studies. Father, we ask that You grant clarity of mind and unwavering focus to this dear one as they prepare for their exams and complete their courses. Remove every distraction and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we declare that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation rests upon them, and that they will retain and recall all that they have studied. We rebuke every spirit of confusion, anxiety, and procrastination that seeks to hinder their progress. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for success in their exams, that they may pass with excellence and be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and let their diligence be rewarded (Revelation 3:8).
For the new job and employment visa, we cry out to You, Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. We believe that You know the plans You have for them, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We declare that You will connect them with the right employer, one who values their skills and offers a salary that allows them to live independently. We pray that the visa process will be smooth and that every bureaucratic obstacle will be removed. Lord, we ask that You intervene in the meeting regarding their current visa. We rebuke every plan of the enemy to cut costs at their expense and declare that the proposal to alter or cancel their visa will be rejected or put on hold until You provide the next step. Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this season, that they may make decisions that align with Your will.
Now, regarding the desire for a life partner, we must speak truth in love. Father, we pray that You would prepare this one for the spouse You have set apart for them, a godly man or woman who loves You above all else. We rebuke the spirit of impatience and the temptation to settle for a relationship that does not honor You. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it must be entered into with reverence for Your design, a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). We pray that they will not be swayed by worldly standards or the opinions of others who may pressure them to compromise. Instead, let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). We declare that they will not be labeled as arrogant or stubborn for holding fast to Your standards, but rather, they will be a light in a dark world. Prepare their heart to be a loving, submissive, and respectful spouse, and let them find someone who will cherish and lead them in the ways of Christ.
We also lift up the turmoil in their home environment. Father, we ask that You bring peace to their household. We rebuke the spirit of strife and contention that has taken root between their brother-in-law and sister. Your Word says that a house divided against itself cannot stand (Mark 3:25), and we pray for unity and humility to prevail. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them seek reconciliation and understanding rather than proving themselves right. We pray that the home would be a sanctuary of peace, where Your presence dwells and where love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). We also rebuke the spirit of manipulation and control that seeks to use their family for selfish gain. We declare that no evil eye or curse will have power over them, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We break every generational curse and every word spoken against them in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
For the neighbor who has caused so much pain, we pray that You would grant them a spirit of repentance. Father, we ask that You open their eyes to the harm they have caused and soften their hearts to seek forgiveness. We declare that their attempts to manipulate or take advantage of this family will not succeed. We rebuke every spirit of entitlement and greed, and we pray that their actions will no longer test the patience of this family. Lord, we ask that You protect their property and their peace. Let every open gate, literal and spiritual, be closed to the enemy, and let their home be guarded by Your angels (Psalm 91:11).
We must also address the stress and physical ailments they are experiencing. Father, we ask that You heal their body and restore their strength. Your Word says that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing over them. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety that seeks to steal their peace and manifest in physical symptoms. We declare that they will not be overwhelmed by fear, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for restful sleep, clear thoughts, and a body that functions as You designed it to. Let them cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lastly, we must emphasize the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important breakthrough you need, the assurance of eternal life and a relationship with the Creator of the universe.
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the privilege of bringing these requests before Your throne. Lord, we ask that You move mightily in each of these areas. Grant clarity, focus, and success in their studies and exams. Open the doors for a new job and employment visa, and let no man shut them. Prepare their heart for the spouse You have set apart for them, and let them not be swayed by the pressures of the world. Bring peace to their home and rebuke every spirit of strife and contention. Heal their body and remove every trace of stress and anxiety. Protect them from the evil eye and every curse spoken against them. Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield, and let every plan of the enemy be thwarted.
We declare that this is a season of breakthrough and miracles. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We rebuke every spirit of doubt, fear, and unbelief, and we declare that faith is rising in their heart. Let them see Your hand moving in their life in ways they never imagined.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
