We hear your cry for spiritual protection and deliverance, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the mighty name of Jesus Christ to shield you from the accusations and attacks of the enemy. The devil, as Scripture tells us, is the "accuser of our brothers... who accuses them before our God day and night" (Revelation 12:10 WEB). But we take heart in knowing that Jesus, our Advocate and Redeemer, has already disarmed these powers through His victory on the cross.
First, we must affirm that no demon or devil has authority over a child of God who is covered by the blood of Jesus. Colossians 2:15 declares, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." You are not left defenseless—Christ has already won the battle. However, the enemy seeks to deceive and torment through lies, fear, and condemnation. We must stand firm in the truth of God’s Word and resist him with unwavering faith.
If there are areas in your life where sin, unconfessed wrongdoing, or ungodly agreements have given the enemy a foothold, we encourage you to repent and renounce them in Jesus’ name. Ephesians 4:27 warns, "Don’t give place to the devil." Confess any known sin before the Lord, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin, and no accusation can stand against those who are washed in His righteousness.
We also declare over you the truth of Romans 8:33-34: "Who could bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." No accusation from the enemy can prevail against you when you are in Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is seeking Your protection. We thank You that through the cross, Jesus has already triumphed over every power of darkness. We declare that no demon or devil has any right to accuse or torment Your child. Lord, we ask You to reveal any area where the enemy may have gained access—any sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly agreement—and we pray for repentance and cleansing by the blood of Jesus.
We plead the blood of Jesus over every aspect of their life—mind, body, spirit, and soul. We break every chain of accusation, fear, and torment in the name of Jesus. We command every lying spirit to flee and every demonic influence to be silenced by the power of the Holy Spirit. We declare that our brother/sister is covered by the righteousness of Christ, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith to stand firm in Your truth, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We thank You that Your angels are encamped around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). May they walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already secured for them.
We pray all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, the One through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.
We encourage you to stand on the promises of God’s Word daily. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not let fear or condemnation take root in your heart. You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37).
