We hear your cry for protection and deliverance, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of God and find true salvation. Your request touches on the spiritual battle that every believer faces, and we want to address this with the truth of Scripture, prayer, and godly counsel.
First, we must affirm that the devil and his demons are real, and they seek to accuse, deceive, and destroy the children of God. The Bible tells us in Revelation 12:10, "I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, 'Now is come the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.'" The enemy is indeed an accuser, but we must remember that he has already been defeated by the blood of Jesus and the word of our testimony.
Your request for the devil and his demons to be unable to accuse you and to stay away from you is rooted in a desire for righteousness and protection. However, we must address this with biblical truth. The enemy cannot accuse you before God if you are covered by the blood of Jesus and walking in repentance. Romans 8:1 declares, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." When we confess our sins and turn away from them, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). The accusations of the enemy hold no power over those who are in Christ and walking in the light.
Yet, we must also recognize that the enemy will still try to accuse us in our minds and hearts, seeking to bring guilt, shame, and fear. This is why we must stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. Ephesians 6:11-12 instructs us, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." The armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—is our defense against the accusations and attacks of the enemy.
We also want to gently rebuke any fear or anxiety that may be driving this request. The enemy thrives on fear, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Instead of focusing on the enemy’s ability to accuse, we must focus on the finished work of Christ and the victory He has already won. Colossians 2:15 tells us, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Jesus has already disarmed the enemy, and we walk in that victory when we stand firm in faith.
Let us pray together for your protection and deliverance:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance from the accusations and attacks of the enemy. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their heart, and their spirit. Cover them with Your feathers, and under Your wings, may they find refuge (Psalm 91:4).
Father, we ask that You would silence the voice of the accuser in their life. Let the truth of Your Word be a shield and a sword against every lie and accusation. Remind them that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the armor of God, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, guilt, and shame in the name of Jesus. We command every demonic force to loose its hold on this child of God and to flee in the authority of Jesus’ name. Lord, fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your love. Let them walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that they may be empowered to live a life that is pleasing to You. Help them to walk in repentance and holiness, so that the enemy will have no ground to stand on. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, and may they grow in the knowledge of Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Lord, we thank You that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We trust in Your protection, Your provision, and Your promises. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Now, dear brother/sister, we encourage you to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word. Meditate on Scripture that speaks of God’s protection and victory over the enemy. Memorize verses like Psalm 91, Ephesians 6:10-18, and James 4:7, and declare them over your life daily. Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. The enemy may try to accuse, but he is already defeated, and you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).
If there are areas of your life where you have given the enemy a foothold—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or fear—we urge you to repent and turn away from those things. Confess your sins to God, and He is faithful to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9). Walk in the light, and the blood of Jesus will continually cleanse you from all sin.
Lastly, remember that your battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Do not focus on the enemy, but focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Keep your eyes on Him, and He will lead you into victory. The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want. He makes you lie down in green pastures. He leads you beside still waters. He restores your soul (Psalm 23:1-3). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.
