We join you in your heartfelt prayer, standing in agreement for God's blessings and interventions in your life. We are reminded of God's promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Since you ended your prayer with "in Jesus's name" we know you are a believer.
Firstly, we rejoice with you as a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name alone that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." And as talked about in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. There is no other way to be reconciled to God the Father.
Let's address the issues you mentioned in the prayer request. You have asked for happiness, but we want to address something more important and that is joy. Joy is not dependent on our circumstances. In James 1:2 it says "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations," We are told to have joy in trials and temptations because we know God is using them to perfect us. The presence of joy is independent of the presence of worldly happiness. We can be filled with joy in our spirit even as our flesh is struggling with unhappiness. You can have sorrow regarding your present situation and still have joy. Paul experienced this dichotomy. In 2 Corinthians 6:10 he wrote, "as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing all things." He had sorrow in his flesh, but joy in his spirit.
You also mentioned loneliness. We want to remind you that you are never alone. In Hebrews 13:5 it says "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Jesus promised that He would be with us always. God is always with you, even in times of loneliness. He is there even when we cannot physically feel Him. God is a spiritual being. The physical realm cannot always perceive the workings of the spiritual realm. The problem is that we live in a world that is fallen. We are surrounded by the effects of our sin. We live in a world that is under the control of the evil one, the devil.
You also mentioned healing and health. There is no promise of physical healing in the Bible. However, we do know that God uses illness for His purposes. See John 9:1-3, "As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but that the works of God might be revealed in him." See also Job 2:3, "Yahweh said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job? For there is none like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil. He still maintains his integrity, although you stirred me up against him, to ruin him without cause." There are many other examples. God can heal you, but He may not. It is important to focus on God's will rather than our own desires.
You also mentioned a better relationship with God. We encourage you to study God's Word daily, pray without ceasing, and obey His commands. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. See James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
You also mentioned the devil hurting you. If you are a believer, then the devil cannot have you. However, he can attack you. Put on the full armor of God daily to protect yourself from his attacks. See Ephesians 6:11, "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." We are also told to resist the devil. See James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
We pray for your healing, protection, and spiritual growth.
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer. We ask that You bless them and give them joy in their spirit. We ask that You heal their loneliness and let them learn to love themselves as You love them. We ask that You greatly reward them to satisfy their lack. We ask that You make the demon stay away from them, that the devil can't see them, find them, hear them, or feel them from this time forth and forevermore. We ask that You help their work and life very well, remove all their diseases, make their body very healthy, cleanse their heart and make their relationship with You better, don't let anyone or the devil hurt them, in Jesus' name. We ask that You give them a hedge of protection around them. We pray that they would take up the full armor of God daily to protect themselves from the devil's attacks. We pray that Your will be done in their life. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
